<br />
First you don’t hear anything from me for years and then I keep posting one project after another 😜. But I got these stamps a few days ago from Cloud 9 Crafts and I had to ink them up right away. They are from My Favorite Things (<a href="https://www.cloud9crafts.nl/collections/my-favorite-things/products/my-favorite-things-magical-friends-clear-stamps">https://www.cloud9crafts.nl/collections/my-favorite-things/products/my-favorite-things-magical-friends-clear-stamps</a>), a brand I have adored for a long time, ever since Inge Groot joined their team actually, but always found to expensive to import myself. I was so happy to find them now in a Dutch Craftstore and the lady behind Cloud 9 Crafts is super quick in shipping.... my second order has already been placed 😳😖.<br />
<br />
Anyway, my crafting fiend Krista Huysman has never made it a secret that she’d love to own one of my projects 😘. So I decided to make this project for her gorgeous little lady Annalynn. I bought this piggy bank years ago to pimp but never used it.<br />

Hey everybody!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I made another card! I colored and cut these pieces a long time ago but then didn’t finish my project. Since I’ve got a taste for crafting again I figured I’d finish this one first, even though it’s more of a Christmas image.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

The gorgeous image is of course by Sylvia Zet for Wee Stamps. Available through Whimsy Stamps. Here is a close up.<br />

Hi everybody!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It’s been years since I posted, I haven’t touched my Copics for such a long time that I didn’t even know if I’d ever use them again. But in this crazy time my girls asked me if we could craft together.... and it felt SO good. I couldn’t sleep at night because of all these ideas in my head..... the mojo was finally back! And this is the result:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiifRwO1piUqrZyIQe1RQjuaSibpRnI9crCPmXu2SBN1g7CqPlOsLPFkFG01QNDRiWSCySLu3oINdI7hICBzVODFgC2nHLGbXArHuknMseJ3nlEDpL87RGaxmYbkXHkz2SUpcPPr_wVCMCR/s1600/1ED71CD6-6551-4E0F-B8F7-C1F79E76516B.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiifRwO1piUqrZyIQe1RQjuaSibpRnI9crCPmXu2SBN1g7CqPlOsLPFkFG01QNDRiWSCySLu3oINdI7hICBzVODFgC2nHLGbXArHuknMseJ3nlEDpL87RGaxmYbkXHkz2SUpcPPr_wVCMCR/s640/1ED71CD6-6551-4E0F-B8F7-C1F79E76516B.jpeg" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I made a video about it that I posted on YouTube: <a href="https://youtu.be/uCwZtYdffwY">https://youtu.be/uCwZtYdffwY</a>.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hope you like!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Today I'd like to share a project with you that I created as a gift for my sister in law who's birthday is in a few days (I don't think she ever visits my blog so I should be able to post it here).<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUCi1EARRxZxqmsAfv-VdJzeFmGyOoAa98nmFZDu3zpNq6zn-zYHi1MYi4xv3_z3N0yNmESdT2w6mmrqzpnguTBVTlgt4h6em5tMT-MJVCZ0cKaklGcXOC2NOUStStlaZKpV1g6JBWGhIe/s1600/Bunny+with+flowers.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjUCi1EARRxZxqmsAfv-VdJzeFmGyOoAa98nmFZDu3zpNq6zn-zYHi1MYi4xv3_z3N0yNmESdT2w6mmrqzpnguTBVTlgt4h6em5tMT-MJVCZ0cKaklGcXOC2NOUStStlaZKpV1g6JBWGhIe/s1600/Bunny+with+flowers.jpg" height="316" width="480" /></a></div>
The box that I used (you'll see that it's a box in a few pictures) is actually a tea-box and the inside has three compartments but I'll fill it with other things then tea. The adorable image that I used is Bunny with Flowers by Crissy Armstrong. It's an image I have adored from the moment I first saw it and this is the first time I used it but I'm very sorry to say that it's no longer available. It was a digital image available from Whimsy Stamps but Whimsy Stamps no longer sells digital images because of new EU tax regulations. I hope you don't mind that I still used it though as I adore the image! I had to use spring colors for this project :) and it was a perfect excuse to use one of these adorable dies that my friend <a href="http://handmadebytlc.blogspot.nl/">Tammy Cunliffe</a> send me that she designed herself for <a href="http://littledarlingsrubberstamps.com/prod-394.htm">Little Darlings Rubber Stamps</a>. LOVE these flowers Tammy, can't wait to do a project with all of the dies from your fabulous set.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWOVOJyOthN_ftz7BfG_PViv00EDJsb_HLsPdzXCLYy1rUMX9UWHPcPn4Ias1Ir01H_mxVSUgT8gJvkuNLenzrZv3YDk07UJU-beeNoPdqf0ogVw82tHC3KHP0wUZ1r1Wo704MjRzyqB8A/s1600/Bunny+with+flowers+close+up.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWOVOJyOthN_ftz7BfG_PViv00EDJsb_HLsPdzXCLYy1rUMX9UWHPcPn4Ias1Ir01H_mxVSUgT8gJvkuNLenzrZv3YDk07UJU-beeNoPdqf0ogVw82tHC3KHP0wUZ1r1Wo704MjRzyqB8A/s1600/Bunny+with+flowers+close+up.jpg" height="400" width="480" /></a></div>
A close up of the cutest little bunny that I'm so sorry I can't link to as it's no longer available :(. But as always colored with Copic Markers and 3D paper pieced.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigsvSQZMyo1abqep4zVCsoxxi8P3Xl1sTI9zuyDPqz79POB39AtmU-AoPmBaz4rhJq4FvYYp89sKpXWVN4EBEzSBx1WhOqJCVA6jkNlwLCMe5lJhyPwtplwXxXH3wLtiBdyPXN5-e59HgP/s1600/Bunny+with+flowers+detail+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigsvSQZMyo1abqep4zVCsoxxi8P3Xl1sTI9zuyDPqz79POB39AtmU-AoPmBaz4rhJq4FvYYp89sKpXWVN4EBEzSBx1WhOqJCVA6jkNlwLCMe5lJhyPwtplwXxXH3wLtiBdyPXN5-e59HgP/s1600/Bunny+with+flowers+detail+2.jpg" height="480" width="391" /></a></div>
And a close up of one of the gorgeous flower clusters with fabulous Wild Orchid Crafts Flowers and of course those darling little flowers that I cut with Tammy's die with self adhesive rhinestones in the middle. The leaves that I used are from the tulips that I used in the other flower cluster.<br />

<br />
Today I'd like to show you a card I made with an artist I found out about not so long ago. She was showing an image she had colored on the Kit and Clowder Facebook page (which I talked about in earlier posts) and I was surprised that I had never seen the image she had colored as I loved it. Then I found out she also was the artist who drew the fabulous image so had to get a couple of them. Her name is Amanda S. Byron and her digital images are for sale in her Etsy shop <a href="https://www.etsy.com/nl/shop/FaeryInk?ref=l2-shopheader-name">Faery Ink</a> and her rubber stamps are for sale through <a href="http://www.sweetpeastamps.com/amanda-s-byron/">Sweet Pea Stamps</a>.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzlD4kCbapLYHOU4bNuWnVYYfHZ2OkNQi1YKSsy_S5MUWi_1DYCLYdPneHE9OQM-giShJAHnaolcqHJ1r7cErxPMgiR5VGsyymGc3Os37ttfp3krpyZxKlzGufEosRm0dz9z1Og-q1Jx-U/s1600/Margaret+Fae.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgzlD4kCbapLYHOU4bNuWnVYYfHZ2OkNQi1YKSsy_S5MUWi_1DYCLYdPneHE9OQM-giShJAHnaolcqHJ1r7cErxPMgiR5VGsyymGc3Os37ttfp3krpyZxKlzGufEosRm0dz9z1Og-q1Jx-U/s1600/Margaret+Fae.jpg" height="362" width="480" /></a></div>
Don't you adore her? I love her big eyes and her pretty hair. I did struggle a while with the card layout though. I really wanted to use the Louvre Ornamental Frame Cut Out that I had ordered from Wild Orchid Crafts a while back with this image and to be honest, just the dark green card with the ornamental frame behind it were already very pretty, I'm sure there will be people who would have stopped there but I really wanted to add some flowers as well. I think I've been getting out jars of flowers and papers and stuff for an hour or two but in the end I'm really pleased with how the card turned out.<br />

But most of all, Merry Christmas Alyce Keegan if you hit this blog!!<br />
<br />
Now if this the first blog you hit with this hop then you may want to start at the beginning of the hop which is <a href="http://marikocreations.blogspot.com/">Mari's blog</a>. If you are doing the hop you should have come here from <a href="http://www.scrapbynini.fr/">Nini's blog</a> and I'll tell you your next hop at the end of this post.<br />
<br />
By pure coincidence I told you about the <a href="http://kitandclowder.ning.com/">Kit and Clowder</a> classes and community yesterday.... well, this hop is for the chief of Kit and Clowder, Alyce Keegan and it's supposed to be a complete surprise. The blog is to wish her a very Merry Christmas and a fabulous 2015. Alyce, if you read this, I haven't signed up for your classes yet but if I do decide to follow a class it'll be yours, I've seen some amazing improvements to people's coloring over the past months so I have already been convinced about the quality of your lessons. I just need to be sure I'll have time to actually do the lessons before I sign up. But even without following your lessons I love the community you've build around Kit and Clowder. I already said yesterday on my blog that it has been a joy to see a community where the main focus is
appreciation for each others work and a shared love for crafting, there
is WAY to much negativity going around on some of the other pages online but non to be found on the Kit and Clowder one. Thank you for creating such a welcoming community for all!! I haven't been able to get your address but if you want to receive this card I'd be happy to send it to you if you PM me your address.<br />
<br />
In preparation of this blog hop we've all been asked to join a Facebook page especially made for this purpose. On this page a few artists have been kind enough to give away some free images for participators to use and I decided to work with the one that <a href="https://www.etsy.com/nl/shop/AliciasCuteShop?ref=l2-shopheader-name">Alicia's Cute Shop</a> donated. Alicia thank you for letting us work with this cute digi! I've seen some other really cute digi's in your store so don't think this will be my lost work with your images.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Sorry for the messy Christmas ornaments behind the card. There were so many and they were so heavy that I decided to just shove them aside to take the picture.<br />

Adore this cute little lady with her big heart. Maybe not your first thought for a Christmas card but I think she works perfectly in traditional Christmas colors and besides... this blog hop is also to give back some of the love Alyce has been giving us :).<br />

A close up of the pretty WOC embellishments :). And had to use my Whimsy Stamps stamp sentiments with the "because you've been nice" on it :).<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

And finally a picture of the little pieces used to make the image. As you can see there is some gorgeous frantage on the base part and as always my coloring has been done with Copic Markers.<br />
<br />
Hope you like my card! To continue the hop your next stop is <a href="http://monchatbyscrap.blogspot.fr/">Laurigami</a> (http://monchatbyscrap.blogspot.fr). Hope you are all having a fabulous Christmas everybody!!! And since I think this is my last post before the new year I want to wish all of you the most AMAZING 2015, make it the best year yet and stay safe if you are going to do fireworks please!!! You'll need those hands to craft!!<br />
<br />
Big hugs!!!<br />

<br />
Christmas is almost here! Hope you are in to another Christmas card? I made this one for another Secret Santa swap I entered. This one was on the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/groups/kitandclowder/">Facebook page of Kit and Clowder</a>, for those of you who haven't heard of <a href="http://kitandclowder.ning.com/">Kit and Clowder</a>, they offer online coloring classes for both alcohol markers and distress inks. Now I haven't done any of their classes yet though I am very intrigued by them, especially the animal one. Anyway, next to offering their classes they have built a really friendly and supportive crafting community especially on their Facebook page. Everybody is welcome, not just students, and it has been a joy to see a community where the main focus is appreciation for each others work and a shared love for crafting, there is WAY to much negativity going around on some of the other pages. But BACK to the Secret Santa swap :). I got to make a card for <a href="http://honeybunny-jiji.blogspot.ch/">Radostina Eneva</a> who is a VERY talented lady from Bulgaria who is now living in Switzerland. And this is the card I made for her.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaQxVD3ApiIb3bb1vkaMzQHqf4sd9apFRo71NbUKecAEZ3ALP_QsqxKwOLDA3VlnRYX5EuVsPoVhfMAQYBmqxhN35rJWSKmsevOBsqwSUDlwvflFwGEJFmdpJEHJrH4_V58nUPowNwEO51/s1600/Maya+Angel.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaQxVD3ApiIb3bb1vkaMzQHqf4sd9apFRo71NbUKecAEZ3ALP_QsqxKwOLDA3VlnRYX5EuVsPoVhfMAQYBmqxhN35rJWSKmsevOBsqwSUDlwvflFwGEJFmdpJEHJrH4_V58nUPowNwEO51/s1600/Maya+Angel.jpg" height="403" width="480" /></a></div>
I made this card using <a href="http://www.whiffofjoy.ch/product_info.php?info=p1634_angel-maya-with-star---black-and-white-digital-stamp.html">Angel Maya with Star by Whiff of Joy</a>. White, blue and gold were the colors I wanted to use, maybe not your first choice of Christmas colors but with the gorgeous little Angel I wanted the pure of the white and the blue and added the gold for the festive feel.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjgYUmecBWnW_7JrJkfK4nnyRRHjiSPDA_Xxt_AqZaTfVjrpkIHh17dOcn0gBcMoasUMSBnEOviczeKACs69LgBdl6jcDdlOqKAHErWkmaMZr5JzClZuS9bXCd8dGN-PhZeMudmfB8CG9n/s1600/Maya+Angel+close+up.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjgYUmecBWnW_7JrJkfK4nnyRRHjiSPDA_Xxt_AqZaTfVjrpkIHh17dOcn0gBcMoasUMSBnEOviczeKACs69LgBdl6jcDdlOqKAHErWkmaMZr5JzClZuS9bXCd8dGN-PhZeMudmfB8CG9n/s1600/Maya+Angel+close+up.jpg" height="480" width="360" /></a></div>
A close up of the image, as always colored with Copic Markers and completely 3D paper pieced, with a bit of pretty frantage around it, stitches by hand and pretty plantinum stickles.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgu8o6A5itrLc4i3dSPVSY2h4MxJS-cqoT0MBdpLRrPcEQCYEp_994mDAtIWOHVerH7frVFkCQfEdbn_IVtfWRN3ohfSawnl4nuP3TfHaIVbxJvj2r7_cjyOOp_KU4rkchG53-oFWNd8Sjz/s1600/Maya+Angel+detail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgu8o6A5itrLc4i3dSPVSY2h4MxJS-cqoT0MBdpLRrPcEQCYEp_994mDAtIWOHVerH7frVFkCQfEdbn_IVtfWRN3ohfSawnl4nuP3TfHaIVbxJvj2r7_cjyOOp_KU4rkchG53-oFWNd8Sjz/s1600/Maya+Angel+detail.jpg" height="480" width="368" /></a></div>
And a close up of some of the embellishments. The Wild Orchid Crafts Trellis Roses are absolutely my favorite flowers, they'll make any card or project shine. And the berries from the Gold Christmas Berry Spray were the perfect festive touch to these gorgeous flowers. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjt7ccJUgMwcxyl13ohahgEAIYiFNnfJtCCyr0zXVrcFXPAX7AsK8xSOtkIjgsd3Rn1xHWhofJPvzyudrD3kB49AVNm3KvMGrkNbKjifZ1a5re4_I7T3QzYouvNMkbbN9eAGWRR7SXzPCM2/s1600/Maya+Angel+little+pieces.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjt7ccJUgMwcxyl13ohahgEAIYiFNnfJtCCyr0zXVrcFXPAX7AsK8xSOtkIjgsd3Rn1xHWhofJPvzyudrD3kB49AVNm3KvMGrkNbKjifZ1a5re4_I7T3QzYouvNMkbbN9eAGWRR7SXzPCM2/s1600/Maya+Angel+little+pieces.jpg" height="295" width="480" /></a></div>
Finally a picture of the little pieces that I cut to make the adorable little angel.<br />

This is the absolutely GORGEOUS card I received from my Secret Santa in this swap <a href="http://created-by-silviez.blogspot.fr/">Silvie Zahradnickova</a>. As always pictures really don't do this beauty justice but I think you can see how pretty it is. It stands proudly on the mantel on my living room. I LOVED being part of this swap.<br />
<br />
I hope you have all your Christmas shopping and stuff done by now! I have one more post before this year is done so I'm not going to wish you guys a happy new year yet but I do wish all of you a very warm and loving Christmas, hope you all get to spend it with the people you hold closest to your hearts!<br />
<br />
Hugs,<br />

<br />
Today I have a special project to show you. Last April my friend Sylvia Zet and her husband Michal came to visit us in The Netherlands. When she visited us she brought me the most precious gifts, drawings of my children that she made from pictures I had send her over the past years.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAx7-qwilPS2tYoXP41e5IpuPK_oybcxXDemLGV0p8K0SKMEMKutlJUreykjjF132EyWiuLM9RPu6HPElUpBdfWmpZPpG5D4L1pJMDx15kAYP6tg-ekhglUCN7j79K03UMbDoBR4Z5vtmI/s1600/10333549_784093161631173_4163372305894784539_o.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAx7-qwilPS2tYoXP41e5IpuPK_oybcxXDemLGV0p8K0SKMEMKutlJUreykjjF132EyWiuLM9RPu6HPElUpBdfWmpZPpG5D4L1pJMDx15kAYP6tg-ekhglUCN7j79K03UMbDoBR4Z5vtmI/s1600/10333549_784093161631173_4163372305894784539_o.jpg" height="267" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
This is the picture Sylvia took of them before framing them for me. As you'll be able to see below each of the portraits she made of my children she drew a Wee figure, based on the personality of my kids. So my oldest daughter Dyanne is the dreamy girl with long hair who can spend hours picking flowers. Amy is my laughing curly haired who likes nothing better then to play with somebody else but has a harder time playing on her own. And Leon is my tough guy who likes real guy things like cars and super heroes :). The Wee figure of Leon is actually based on a picture I send Sylvia of Leon sitting in his miniature Ferrari. As you can imagine these gorgeous portraits are up on my living room wall and are never coming of :). But I told Sylvia that the Wee characters she drew were really way to cute to just have as sketches on my living room wall. I for one would love to use them on cards as well. So earlier this month the images Sylvia drew for Dyanne and Amy were released as rubber stamps and a few days ago also as digital images. The image she drew for Leon will be released soon as well.<br />
<br />
Anyway, for my birthday Sylvia send me the rubber stamps of <a href="http://www.whimsystamps.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=19_42&products_id=3518">Dyanne</a> and <a href="http://www.whimsystamps.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=19_42&products_id=3517">Cuddly Ride</a> (<a href="http://www.weestamps.com/?page_id=27">or for a link to the digital versions</a>) (which is the name of Amy's image as there already is an Amy character in the Wee Stamps store) and of course I had to ink one up.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyWhagn97DDCQpXkmni2gaS756IPTeRGstSIarkLJLhyphenhyphen5eoXD_CGbHn51SxTAo6Cdv-Bh1iMoOY9ILoYxgSFPUp_loY-iXECoLFHdIw3YnJOADtAOPx3XpkKeye9UXAi9GlljWxjjtMcxx/s1600/Dyanne.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyWhagn97DDCQpXkmni2gaS756IPTeRGstSIarkLJLhyphenhyphen5eoXD_CGbHn51SxTAo6Cdv-Bh1iMoOY9ILoYxgSFPUp_loY-iXECoLFHdIw3YnJOADtAOPx3XpkKeye9UXAi9GlljWxjjtMcxx/s1600/Dyanne.jpg" height="457" width="480" /></a></div>
Since Dyanne is my oldest I decided to go with her image first. I have to admit that I started out making a card but then when I was halfway done I was so happy with how it was turning out that I decided to decorate a shadowbox (that I have had in my stash for ages) with it instead. The box was a bit to deep so I filled it with a few layers of cardboard first.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-KMWjRtwjL9ElYbkwYR2FSGotq9NSDm8ExrzvJBsE6qB1rzKPDCjUNNuVDkgfTxn1ctPPwQuyOBS6LUyOcbxDT1DQvve5BVtngnetEOC1BlqP__lZkScv9PDf_wPcviEgy2wH8m_jSyjq/s1600/Dyanne+close+up.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-KMWjRtwjL9ElYbkwYR2FSGotq9NSDm8ExrzvJBsE6qB1rzKPDCjUNNuVDkgfTxn1ctPPwQuyOBS6LUyOcbxDT1DQvve5BVtngnetEOC1BlqP__lZkScv9PDf_wPcviEgy2wH8m_jSyjq/s1600/Dyanne+close+up.jpg" height="376" width="480" /></a></div>
A close up of Dyanne. Purple is Dyanne's favorite color so there had to be purple in the image. Her hair was a bit challenging to paper piece but I like how it turned out.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdRjAGhz-Tjjm_-Qb8hvjFg7aT1NVZ_0beNB2UPbb088QE8NkPOWLWghp56ik5W0r8xS-aPDM2Tm5maZmQiyM_krMp2KFtR-2qebd1j7TB-pGZxXF7tFTJakuCWCwqBYw88368ut4PZLl2/s1600/Dyanne+side.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdRjAGhz-Tjjm_-Qb8hvjFg7aT1NVZ_0beNB2UPbb088QE8NkPOWLWghp56ik5W0r8xS-aPDM2Tm5maZmQiyM_krMp2KFtR-2qebd1j7TB-pGZxXF7tFTJakuCWCwqBYw88368ut4PZLl2/s1600/Dyanne+side.jpg" height="470" width="480" /></a></div>
A sideview of the shadowbox. Dyanne (the original) had decided that this one has to go on the wall in her room so her daddy is going to hang it up for her sometime this week.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglmVuUAHTvr-Pxjm9rzxOubTPR8x9R_ylfgdnK-m9EAY-VYpYceqfR-JiIV5NX49XTYo_QtkSJHdkT0X9tQU3SKL9n0Q9_yqTd8lSEyd7BtQqQVC712ou2GZmH1KY-thgwcQDRjC3qwp1g/s1600/Dyanne+detail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglmVuUAHTvr-Pxjm9rzxOubTPR8x9R_ylfgdnK-m9EAY-VYpYceqfR-JiIV5NX49XTYo_QtkSJHdkT0X9tQU3SKL9n0Q9_yqTd8lSEyd7BtQqQVC712ou2GZmH1KY-thgwcQDRjC3qwp1g/s1600/Dyanne+detail.jpg" height="366" width="480" /></a></div>
To accentuate the whimsical feeling of the image I used my pretty vine dies from Whimsy Stamps and wanted to just add some random flowers in sort of a swirl around the image. I think Wild Orchid Crafts' sweetheart blossoms come closest to the flowers Sylvia drew in the image but also added some roses and cosmos daisies. A few random placed rhinestones did the finishing touch for me :).<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The little pieces that I used to create the image.<br />
<br />
I hope you like my new project. Sorry for all the text and pictures but like I said, this one is special to me and had to share the story behind it :).<br />

<br />
Last month I entered a Secret Santa swap on the Facebook page of <a href="http://www.makeitcrafty.com/">Make it Crafty</a>. I had to make a card for Rita Edwards, a talented fellow crafter who lives in California USA. This is the card I made.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHx8SGKy4xEf29C56dhLYsZnKs-eYpeeTnweXmEEYd1AtH3nB5_ccoVnKKAhOArAAtOXZscPlVWVSVUr-kC7bnlJ0PkxRYG6aKJHq4OPWRP1bfRnAXr1e9zbc3njompNfsJrPgYERXSd0v/s1600/Jinkles+Elf.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHx8SGKy4xEf29C56dhLYsZnKs-eYpeeTnweXmEEYd1AtH3nB5_ccoVnKKAhOArAAtOXZscPlVWVSVUr-kC7bnlJ0PkxRYG6aKJHq4OPWRP1bfRnAXr1e9zbc3njompNfsJrPgYERXSd0v/s1600/Jinkles+Elf.jpg" height="392" width="480" /></a></div>
The image that I used is <a href="http://www.makeitcrafty.com/jinkles-elf-digi-stamp.html">Jinkles the Elf</a> and it's my the first Make it Crafty image that I used.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjL4l2n6Mnzw67HxRivbGTzkdzF7Y7GK92BFF7dhtXtjxJVjyOMRS9bdmB6wsX91fEffGWyT3CDNh_kW7m7rvbiqp0dlqyhl6ZQJJeG3G3IMCDZDaPHE3pL_d59fz5QPxbI_vhB9c7kCe-a/s1600/Jinkles+Elf+close+up.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjL4l2n6Mnzw67HxRivbGTzkdzF7Y7GK92BFF7dhtXtjxJVjyOMRS9bdmB6wsX91fEffGWyT3CDNh_kW7m7rvbiqp0dlqyhl6ZQJJeG3G3IMCDZDaPHE3pL_d59fz5QPxbI_vhB9c7kCe-a/s1600/Jinkles+Elf+close+up.jpg" height="480" width="370" /></a></div>
A close up of Jinkles, as always colored with Copic Markers and 3D paper pieced.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOpsARK-yDitucSxDoeiCwPDkuCZ4e02gVeHs-1ZWTrUmBZ7YARDX4apaThCDnG7V2a7D5Ghbf2qacJyCvzkeoV5y2ufs6QNdA1xomi5i-PioXQmSZU8b5m72xT3Dyl2u5pcr0zQ_VLjS6/s1600/Jinkles+Elf+detail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOpsARK-yDitucSxDoeiCwPDkuCZ4e02gVeHs-1ZWTrUmBZ7YARDX4apaThCDnG7V2a7D5Ghbf2qacJyCvzkeoV5y2ufs6QNdA1xomi5i-PioXQmSZU8b5m72xT3Dyl2u5pcr0zQ_VLjS6/s1600/Jinkles+Elf+detail.jpg" height="480" width="336" /></a></div>
And a close up of the pretty flowers and berries that I used from Wild Orchid Crafts. With my card I enclosed a bag of Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and a bunch of the berries and pine cones that I used on this card plus a pretty butterfly die by Noor!, hoping that since Noor! is Dutch she wouldn't have that die yet.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhB-xzx7glialqp2LCuDtCl2lYiANcooJMO4CLZb5X-M7M8_W7XxBn4hxESE8EAoDowuvaf4azA0t3lbqU8y5s0yXPODi13zCilgaDVPaL_HmDfk9fNrRxdGP7eYHHkcQSmYx_k0lBqxjfn/s1600/Jinkles+Elf+little+pieces.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhB-xzx7glialqp2LCuDtCl2lYiANcooJMO4CLZb5X-M7M8_W7XxBn4hxESE8EAoDowuvaf4azA0t3lbqU8y5s0yXPODi13zCilgaDVPaL_HmDfk9fNrRxdGP7eYHHkcQSmYx_k0lBqxjfn/s1600/Jinkles+Elf+little+pieces.jpg" height="332" width="480" /></a></div>
And a picture of the little pieces used to create the image.<br />
<br />
Hope you like my card and glad to say it finally arrived at Rita Edwards so that I get to show it to you guys. The postal services had me worried for a while because it should have arrived on November 22nd but it never arrived at her house so had to fill in missing package forms. But the parcel turned up again thankfully!!<br />
<br />
Hope you have a great day or what's left of it (in my case).<br />
<br />
Hugs,<br />

<br />
I purchased some gorgeous chipboard shapes from a <a href="https://www.facebook.com/sistersart.creation?fref=ts&ref=br_tf">Facebook-store named SisterArt Creation</a> a while back. You may remember that I have already used some of them on these two creations <a href="http://sendingyoualittlesmile.blogspot.nl/2014/11/snowflake-dancer-with-give-away.html">"Snowflake Dancer"</a>, <a href="http://sendingyoualittlesmile.blogspot.nl/2014/08/wish-upon-star.html">"Wish upon a Star"</a> and <a href="http://sendingyoualittlesmile.blogspot.nl/2014/07/well-rounded-thank-you.html">"Well Rounded Thank You"</a>. The company is owned by two sisters, one in Indonesia and one in Germany. They have photoalbums full of shapes to choose from, if you want one or more of them just leave your name under the picture and Merry, the sister in Germany, will contact you. Merry asked me a while back if I wanted to be their guest designer for December and naturally I said yes. This is a card I created for them.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNu8WhljGt7CN7urVyh9kKm1rJocUWmrSqvuH6BRMAUsHWEkOrSN5djHoG4sYPtz1JZSxRqm93Y11I7bPdY3kt5MOyCDSq8kex_tCz3pjN0m99duR_GLn2EmqjjqKHapTVHMNsSpEzWhHX/s1600/Lullaby.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjNu8WhljGt7CN7urVyh9kKm1rJocUWmrSqvuH6BRMAUsHWEkOrSN5djHoG4sYPtz1JZSxRqm93Y11I7bPdY3kt5MOyCDSq8kex_tCz3pjN0m99duR_GLn2EmqjjqKHapTVHMNsSpEzWhHX/s1600/Lullaby.jpg" height="436" width="480" /></a></div>
The pretty image that I used is Lullaby by my sweet friend Sylvia Zet from Wee Stamps. She's available as a digital image directly through Wee Stamps <a href="http://www.weestamps.com/?page_id=27">HERE</a> and as a rubber stamp through Whimsy Stamps <a href="http://www.whimsystamps.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=19_42&products_id=3491">HERE</a> (it's sold out in rubber as I type this but knowing Denise from Whimsy it'll be back in store soon enough). I used three beautiful flourishes and the Merry Christmas sentiment by SisterArt Creation. The flourishes received a coating of Inka Gold golden and the Merry Christmas sentiment was painted using a white paint dabber by Tim Holtz.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQ1qY3vNO9ZW8OjsHD0xXzIIMGOXzU8l8aO_6fLrueQ4dXTixbGSRrOhsMysNrl_F_m51vRyxyds9m55Ic0PMDu70tWyiaQusnX8G0XgK2NCJ6cfdHK5sFbx_tTDl00a2EaV0W_VnrgSzQ/s1600/Lullaby+close+up.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQ1qY3vNO9ZW8OjsHD0xXzIIMGOXzU8l8aO_6fLrueQ4dXTixbGSRrOhsMysNrl_F_m51vRyxyds9m55Ic0PMDu70tWyiaQusnX8G0XgK2NCJ6cfdHK5sFbx_tTDl00a2EaV0W_VnrgSzQ/s1600/Lullaby+close+up.jpg" height="402" width="480" /></a></div>
A close up of Lullaby, colored with Copic Markers and 3D paper pieced. The snow on the branch got a bit of fluffy paint on it to give it a real snow effect. And the hair and wings have some glitter.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLkso4iLjxByV95V8L8suN-clOqAQnU-RbGrb_2lqZri9sIu9XQPdHJnzntARFGiauYSvxm0d3c2-PASnFYK8-MTw8AC90-MQKlLDOejkp_OWebt-QD2ilwnFxgfel1ysOQl8uRQPOP0Ni/s1600/Lullaby+detail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLkso4iLjxByV95V8L8suN-clOqAQnU-RbGrb_2lqZri9sIu9XQPdHJnzntARFGiauYSvxm0d3c2-PASnFYK8-MTw8AC90-MQKlLDOejkp_OWebt-QD2ilwnFxgfel1ysOQl8uRQPOP0Ni/s1600/Lullaby+detail.jpg" height="397" width="480" /></a></div>
One of the corners of the card with the pretty flourish by Sister Art creation and of course pretty Wild Orchid Craft flowers. I cut this flourish in pieces to make it look like a corner. The chipboard is of a very good quality and will let you cut and paint it very well.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

And the little pieces Lullaby was made with :).<br />
<br />
Hope you like my latest Christmas creation. I loved working on this one. And hope you'll take a look at the gorgeous chipboards from <a href="https://www.facebook.com/sistersart.creation?fref=ts&ref=br_tf">SisterArt Creation</a>. Have fun!!!<br />

<br />
Back with another card. When I noticed Conie Fong had released a new image with the adorable little bear Bella I had to have it. So here is my new card with <a href="http://www.sweetpeastamps.com/conie-fong-digi-stamsp/conie-fongs-bella-with-rose-digi">Bella with Rose</a>.<br />

As always colored with Copic Markers and 3D paper pieced. I'll add the markers I used this evening because I have actually taken them down this time. Just in a hurry this morning but will take time to do it tonight.<br />

Thank you everybody for all of the lovely comments on my card with Wee Stamps' Sarah. Sorry for the late announcement but yesterday was my birthday and that took away more of my time and energy then expected. Anyway, random.org did it's work and the winner to the digital image of Sarah by Wee Stamps (or another stamp of choice if the person already purchased Sarah) is:<br />

Mariskahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08994046584180088471noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7676966971812038939.post-37894789782041782652014-11-11T20:35:00.000+01:002014-11-17T06:52:48.611+01:00Wee Stamps Sarah with a give awayHi everybody,<br />
<br />
Today I'd like to show you another Christmas card I made. I think this is the second time ever I used my hexagon dies but I wanted to try something new and the pretty Sarah by Wee Stamps (<a href="http://www.weestamps.com/?page_id=27">digi</a>/<a href="http://www.whimsystamps.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=19_42&products_id=3490">rubber stamp</a>) fitted perfectly into the hexagon die. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEit2ZBawatTkzHDbxxQCaN23JJz0qrGdK8ginAHaenlbLGtFC2F75UMO0uJ3s2mCcBI8ez2H-BB7iS-qrBKPeGFTLdbyDbCY3ULMhSDSD-7uKIB3v7Vw7qerRy21KL0Rl9cxCD3Oc9zKk9Q/s1600/Sarah.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 0em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="416" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEit2ZBawatTkzHDbxxQCaN23JJz0qrGdK8ginAHaenlbLGtFC2F75UMO0uJ3s2mCcBI8ez2H-BB7iS-qrBKPeGFTLdbyDbCY3ULMhSDSD-7uKIB3v7Vw7qerRy21KL0Rl9cxCD3Oc9zKk9Q/s640/Sarah.jpg" width="512" /></a></div>
The base of the card is just kraft cardstock, with stitches by hand around the edges. I smeared a bit embossing ink on one side of an embossing folder and pressed that on two edges of the cardstock, sprinkled white embossing powder on it, tapped it of and embossed that. I wanted to get this not perfect pattern.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpuY4c0PTjexEBKdkUofrpp3XA5psFtq8caEZtAjCPueZDQj3Phux6BK5LdTJvmi3qcJVn0SbiA4oMcxYNCSEdwgnuLRHYx4dNU_k4ouU7t20-clMcCIc_lTL30UcABHdNtveRdwdrT_-h/s1600/Sarah+close+up.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 0em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="404" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpuY4c0PTjexEBKdkUofrpp3XA5psFtq8caEZtAjCPueZDQj3Phux6BK5LdTJvmi3qcJVn0SbiA4oMcxYNCSEdwgnuLRHYx4dNU_k4ouU7t20-clMcCIc_lTL30UcABHdNtveRdwdrT_-h/s400/Sarah+close+up.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
Like I mentioned, the image that I used is the newly released Sarah by Wee Stamps (available as a <a href="http://www.weestamps.com/?page_id=27">digital image through Wee Stamps</a> and as a <a href="http://www.whimsystamps.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=19_42&products_id=3490">rubber stamp through Whimsy Stamps</a>). I colored her with Copic Markers and 3D paper pieced her (but what else is new ;) ).<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2ZJA45s31_Z8UaQlPVV7VIXt5mhvw_mqqsKJyEJUfqVOWa_LdvUdUobqUTdgoslUTxMTKJ2ANqV7JaxsGgqQ7u1Q7ClvwftwBUQbkzK4ho4hFqEolnboV4NiwHQpLHfv71Z3_u71nkuOy/s1600/Sarah+detail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 0em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2ZJA45s31_Z8UaQlPVV7VIXt5mhvw_mqqsKJyEJUfqVOWa_LdvUdUobqUTdgoslUTxMTKJ2ANqV7JaxsGgqQ7u1Q7ClvwftwBUQbkzK4ho4hFqEolnboV4NiwHQpLHfv71Z3_u71nkuOy/s400/Sarah+detail.jpg" width="360" /></a></div>
For the embellishments I used gorgeous red Trellis roses, a white open rose, pretty red hip rosebuds and one red Christmas berry spray with pine cones (you'll find links below). I still have berries and a cone left so what you see on this card is about 2/3rd of one spray.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibBCONczb9WdtMxRQJzHg7XUH0IXh-tCKRFmr6PnG7fgEoKCvFwZUAiRav7xZ_0RNcZpoDLhlTA8cZEsWNp3ZkbQTLEeXp4dS0RLYI-cjkIBA5e5fhUoYxq0lRbIRRj8lCR_S1SWXKG-js/s1600/Sarah+little+pieces.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="277" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibBCONczb9WdtMxRQJzHg7XUH0IXh-tCKRFmr6PnG7fgEoKCvFwZUAiRav7xZ_0RNcZpoDLhlTA8cZEsWNp3ZkbQTLEeXp4dS0RLYI-cjkIBA5e5fhUoYxq0lRbIRRj8lCR_S1SWXKG-js/s400/Sarah+little+pieces.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
And the little pieces the image was made with :).<br />
<br />
I hope you like my new Christmas card. Not that much time until the Christmas cards need to be send of so hope you get some time to do some crafting of your own! Sylvia was kind enough to let me give away Sarah as a digital image to one of the people commenting on this post again! All you need to do is leave a comment and mention that you would like a chance to win Sarah (or that you have already purchased Sarah and would like to win another digital image from Wee Stamps) and from the people who do so I will pick one winner next Saturday. And to make things even better..... if you leave a comment on my post with this card on Sylvia's blog <a href="http://sylviazet.blogspot.nl/">HERE</a> then you might just win this adorable Sarah as a rubber stamp! So that's two chances, one for the digital and one for the rubber version of this adorable image! Good luck!!<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Copic Markers used:</b></span><br />
<b>Skin:</b> E11, E00, E000, E0000 and a little bit of R20 as a blush<br />
<b>Hair:</b> E53, E50, CB and then when that's dry a bit of E42, E40 where there'd be shadow. <br />
<b>Brown in clothes:</b> E55, E53, E50 and a little bit of W3 (just dots), W1 and W00 (to smear the W3 out) over that in places where there are shadows <br />
<b>Brown little bear:</b> E53, E50, E0000 and over that where there are shadows E44 (just a dot here and there), E42 (tiny bit), and then again E50, E0000 to smear that out<br />
<b>White fur: </b>E50 only a bit here and there, let that dry a bit and then go over that with E40 (just dots), W00 and CB. All the colored markers are just touches as I want it to look white and not grey.<br />
<b>White in dress:</b> same as fur but without the E40.<br />
<b>Red:</b> R29, R27, R24, let that dry completely and then add really small amounts of R89 in darkest places and smear out with R27, R24 and 20. I find that with the first layer dry the R89 will blend better with the R20-colors. If you put the R89 on first and then start with the R29 it's harder to get it to blend perfectly. It is very important to let the first layer dry as the red will easily run out.<br />
<b>Greenish/brownish shade in scarf:</b> E87, E84, E81, W0<br />
<b>Golden color present:</b> E84 (just dots), E81, W00, CB, use the colored markers just a bit, mostly to blend. With diamond stickles over it this is my favorite gold.<br />
<b>Pink parts in bear:</b> R22, R20, R0000<br />
<b>Shadow around the image:</b> (will make the white look more white): W3, W1, W00, CB<br />
<br />
Hugs,<br />

<br />
Today I'd like to show you a card I made with the newly released Snowflake Dancer by Wee Stamps. This stamp is available as a <a href="http://www.weestamps.com/?page_id=27">digital image</a> directly through Wee Stamps and as a <a href="http://www.whimsystamps.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=19_42&products_id=3489">rubber stamp</a> through Whimsy Stamps. <br />

I adored the Snowflake Dancer from the second Sylvia showed her to me. I think she's delicate and elegant and I knew right away that I wanted to create a cool card around her. The white cardstock was simply embossed with a Cuttlebug Ice Crystals embossing folder, the strip of blue paper is an old scrap I had from Magnolia and I thought those two would be a lovely setting. I kept the embellishments all white though I did play around with blue flowers but that, for me, took away from the pureness of this card which is what I wanted.<br />

A close up of the fairy, as always colored with Copic Markers, I tried to go for a bit of a distressed look, not to much color. The pretty chipboard star-shapes that I have used are from <a href="https://www.facebook.com/sistersart.creation?fref=ts">SisterArt Creation</a>, they don't have a webshop but sell through Facebook. Just click on their photos and if you want to purchase something add a comment below the picture with the chipboard you want. Their chipboards are of a very high quality and I love the shapes. I painted these chipboards with white paint, dusted them with stardust glitter when the paint was still wet and gave them a coat of varnish after they were dry. They sparkle like crazy and I adore them.<br />

Gorgeous white <a href="http://www.wildorchidcrafts.com/index.php?main_page=index">Wild Orchid Crafts flowers</a>, you'll find the links to the different flowers below. And again a chipboard shape from <a href="https://www.facebook.com/sistersart.creation?fref=ts">SisterArt Creation</a>.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgj2FY-CMEtZbIz_GEOfMyvg0v-4_cGnil0tqkHMksWTgY94gAdBzCkUibc1DZ38DM7DSp_2eodubvcFnyGCGRIPSfhs_cboJGJi7sZRZrldKAxmIro-af7xNKulRS30QjYblEtvaaxlC7e/s1600/Snowflake+dancer+little+pieces.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgj2FY-CMEtZbIz_GEOfMyvg0v-4_cGnil0tqkHMksWTgY94gAdBzCkUibc1DZ38DM7DSp_2eodubvcFnyGCGRIPSfhs_cboJGJi7sZRZrldKAxmIro-af7xNKulRS30QjYblEtvaaxlC7e/s1600/Snowflake+dancer+little+pieces.jpg" height="480" width="368" /></a></div>
And the little pieces the image was made with. I cut out most of the snowflake parts one by one after the rest of the image was done, that's why you see them uncut in this picture.<br />
<br />
Well that's it for me today. Hope you like my card but you have just gotto love the Snowflake Dancer right? And as mentioned in the header of this post.... I get to give one of these cuties away as a digital image to one person leaving a comment on this post! If you have already purchased the Snowflake Dancer you of course get to pick a different image of your liking. I'll pick a winner somewhere tomorrow so you have all day today and a bit of tomorrow to leave a comment!<br />
<br />
Have a great day everybody!!<br />
<br />
Hugs,<br />

<br />
I did another Christmas card. And though I really love the image that I used on this one the main product that I wanted to use was this pretty Christmas berry spray by Wild Orchid Crafts. I've ordered these a while back and have been wanting to try them ever since.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyR6SCZLJ-fQMxfVnkvfh6cFlQObFj1FQuFYJwMVWWLnm79EbkoGCjjE7p9NOENFyhS-F8EgsS0FIi0MpqbC0vj1pKbLcWn0Lt5MNkIJePssmdEZ55mOFY774wXlhEMqpP41f3b3y5pdFV/s1600/Pile+of+Presents.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyR6SCZLJ-fQMxfVnkvfh6cFlQObFj1FQuFYJwMVWWLnm79EbkoGCjjE7p9NOENFyhS-F8EgsS0FIi0MpqbC0vj1pKbLcWn0Lt5MNkIJePssmdEZ55mOFY774wXlhEMqpP41f3b3y5pdFV/s1600/Pile+of+Presents.jpg" height="422" width="480" /></a></div>
The image is by <a href="http://www.liliofthevalley.co.uk/acatalog/Christmas_Animals.html">Lili of the Valley and is named Pile of Presents</a>, I think it's retiring so if you want to get it you'd better hurry. I did add another present that I stamped from the Deck the Halls stamp (also from LOTV and also retiring). The papers are old ones by Basic Grey with white and green cardstock. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_2UTQYbVdmrIRvxLJsA-IN_Kd-q4sAAdR92PnnAfrqzWJb90hcALn7jSSpXTRng4HnYDeLbVmBK5zDtoSgkhctByI_gKhkQeWY8seymNtColZ-qj1djLJ1h68Rxupdjy2o60sFrs6JlLv/s1600/Pile+of+Presents+close+up.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_2UTQYbVdmrIRvxLJsA-IN_Kd-q4sAAdR92PnnAfrqzWJb90hcALn7jSSpXTRng4HnYDeLbVmBK5zDtoSgkhctByI_gKhkQeWY8seymNtColZ-qj1djLJ1h68Rxupdjy2o60sFrs6JlLv/s1600/Pile+of+Presents+close+up.jpg" height="368" width="480" /></a></div>
A close up of the image, as always colored with Copics and 3D paper pieced for extra dimension. As mentioned, the present before his foot shouldn't be there but I thought the image needed something in that corner so I stamped it and paper pieced it in there. I've added some flower soft under his feet and as snow in the sky.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxNCSo3l9XWKGGCrpOYeBbRB5fcF36pD0nE7dXZiB7HK-M0XGciiBSlKjcwV1qmtjHndgcGOt5h4GYcGgoxXPaeYiHjn3bnMnT1ffPGxFsXyKQ7C1-lGR1CuoPYWnyhD73OkbN4uEP_zKC/s1600/Pile+of+Presents+detail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxNCSo3l9XWKGGCrpOYeBbRB5fcF36pD0nE7dXZiB7HK-M0XGciiBSlKjcwV1qmtjHndgcGOt5h4GYcGgoxXPaeYiHjn3bnMnT1ffPGxFsXyKQ7C1-lGR1CuoPYWnyhD73OkbN4uEP_zKC/s1600/Pile+of+Presents+detail.jpg" height="480" width="361" /></a></div>
And the gorgeous Christmas Spray that I used in a close up. I used one single spray on this card and even had some berries left, I absolutely adore these pine cones and these pretty berries. On the <a href="http://wildorchidcrafts.blogspot.nl/">Wild Orchid Crafts blog</a> I explained how I attached them.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRysIJ7XntznpSxI8PSeI47ruuBytXARA4qWPNOXmeNB2nBzDBXIhor74ZYW4KBdRjq6Xvvik3ZYDl9e82_3HPZ0f3sl44cJnP1oRcSj_DtCEHuVAZ7-fqQLaEUUpvyaP3or2TbLOEi7fY/s1600/Pile+of+Presents+little+pieces.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRysIJ7XntznpSxI8PSeI47ruuBytXARA4qWPNOXmeNB2nBzDBXIhor74ZYW4KBdRjq6Xvvik3ZYDl9e82_3HPZ0f3sl44cJnP1oRcSj_DtCEHuVAZ7-fqQLaEUUpvyaP3or2TbLOEi7fY/s1600/Pile+of+Presents+little+pieces.jpg" height="337" width="480" /></a></div>
And the little pieces the image was made of. Can you see the ghost present? Shadow is there but no present yet :).<br />
<br />
Hope you like my new Christmas card. Have a great day everybody!!!<br />

<br />
Today I'd like to show you a (for me) very simple card with one of the <a href="http://www.weestamps.com/?page_id=27">Flower Fairies by Wee Stamps</a>. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEHaRGCWLsGkNDqNDewvFGdYKUtbNJtoBa4mUHKj8_-CMrlqWXkddW6aWicNZtMnAu9KDLr_QBl0IVevLRk0HM_IfHubBAMxrc96TCG5doK6Cpwt-hO80cB_DSqEtduHgvfdnkF0wkgzRO/s1600/Rob+Ineke.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiEHaRGCWLsGkNDqNDewvFGdYKUtbNJtoBa4mUHKj8_-CMrlqWXkddW6aWicNZtMnAu9KDLr_QBl0IVevLRk0HM_IfHubBAMxrc96TCG5doK6Cpwt-hO80cB_DSqEtduHgvfdnkF0wkgzRO/s1600/Rob+Ineke.jpg" height="374" width="480" /></a></div>
We had a wedding anniversary to go to and I wanted to give money and to make it a bit more personal give it in a handmade card. But I had very little time to craft so I had to keep it simple. The sentiment is computer generated and the adorable little fairy and the gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts flowers really do all the work on this card.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuc3w-NK0IlZcgE9gd-tEAcNcBTt3eVOAXFLHuvqQ-4r9MdBX-8_rJNu5aoYLCQLOHhIQgs9-PGF-nPRpVINIBvVkptSE1px4Lg2hs0Rm9BnHMBuhzaDs6KqNvL3f7DpEt0OKbrdkTzeVA/s1600/Rob+Ineke+close+up.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuc3w-NK0IlZcgE9gd-tEAcNcBTt3eVOAXFLHuvqQ-4r9MdBX-8_rJNu5aoYLCQLOHhIQgs9-PGF-nPRpVINIBvVkptSE1px4Lg2hs0Rm9BnHMBuhzaDs6KqNvL3f7DpEt0OKbrdkTzeVA/s1600/Rob+Ineke+close+up.jpg" height="416" width="480" /></a></div>
A close up of the adorable little fairy. Colored with Copic Markers and 3D paper pieced as always.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgnkuYYimI4gUJFNe8XEYsjN4S3q5UBmKEAzxvvtnVLNoMQgwt6D2Z8KwvkYiRuuVYfL8KfQ8ZGAuRmVIudFNW8V9L-YYWY_UsNfa3_Jqpk43JN5jqE7KnHrJEg5hQTzHBVglNXYRoHT69/s1600/Rob+Ineke+detail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgnkuYYimI4gUJFNe8XEYsjN4S3q5UBmKEAzxvvtnVLNoMQgwt6D2Z8KwvkYiRuuVYfL8KfQ8ZGAuRmVIudFNW8V9L-YYWY_UsNfa3_Jqpk43JN5jqE7KnHrJEg5hQTzHBVglNXYRoHT69/s1600/Rob+Ineke+detail.jpg" height="382" width="480" /></a></div>
And the pretty flowers. I thought the die cut leaves sort of matched the flowers of the fairy.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiILRkx2UDUQikGK1CPtT-RcmV9Oq-friWswS6zlydxXHVFkGGPurb9NbSKw7tWlD8Yd4CjNvFIhZsuwrsYvbiEYQDdHJ-nXywrlw-S_xd8fFvbJZz4jyltw2cgO4tn1tjy2R7UbveqC7Xy/s1600/Rob+Ineke+little+pieces.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiILRkx2UDUQikGK1CPtT-RcmV9Oq-friWswS6zlydxXHVFkGGPurb9NbSKw7tWlD8Yd4CjNvFIhZsuwrsYvbiEYQDdHJ-nXywrlw-S_xd8fFvbJZz4jyltw2cgO4tn1tjy2R7UbveqC7Xy/s1600/Rob+Ineke+little+pieces.jpg" height="373" width="480" /></a></div>
And the little pieces. As you can see I didn't cut out every single flower on this one and I colored the little leaves under the bouquet on the base layer. Had to win some time that way.<br />
<br />
Hope you like my card even though it's so simple. It still took me hours to make :).<br />
<br />
Hugs,<br />

<br />
Today I'd like to show you a little project that I made for my mum. It's a sort of a milk carton with a holder filled with flower bulbs. When my mum came to visit us in the spring she noticed these gorgeous <a href="http://www.westlandbol.nl/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/b/o/boshyacint_blauw_.jpg">bluebells hyacinth flowers</a> that I had in my garden and she said she loved them and asked me what they were. When I ordered plants for my garden the other day I decided to order her a bunch of the flower bulbs for these hyacinths so she could plant them in her own garden to enjoy next year.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKQH83rmOD8kwITThPdN6L2oQfU55tkchTzNPPBCrmDHc0Zh21vGlz7YrSeTyldCXc-kxWEblKxcVGhaPEPrGyMridy7IMuCr0RGzbEJbKn7ggWLL-lHEm5x_vIBUTU7wC1FsAP2q6uQl4/s1600/Lady+gnome+flower+bulb+box.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKQH83rmOD8kwITThPdN6L2oQfU55tkchTzNPPBCrmDHc0Zh21vGlz7YrSeTyldCXc-kxWEblKxcVGhaPEPrGyMridy7IMuCr0RGzbEJbKn7ggWLL-lHEm5x_vIBUTU7wC1FsAP2q6uQl4/s1600/Lady+gnome+flower+bulb+box.jpg" height="480" width="349" /></a></div>
One of the first design teams that I was on a looooooong time ago was <a href="http://www.pinkcatstudio.com/">Pink Cat Studio</a> by Melissa Rodger. Though I haven't used her images for a while I still adore them and I knew right away that I wanted to use <a href="http://www.pinkcatstudio.com/collections/gnomes">Pink Cat Studio's Lady Gnome</a> for this project. What better image to decorate a box of flower bulbs then a cute little gnome right?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXTAWEJtV4iGuIwOKJvEL3EKrCeL59T_a11Hy8BVzRQ4wwbtVoA-uGn6F0fSpq2aviuft4TKP6qUyAeqX4hlw43g9zjdT_Ib5RGqlvEyRs69eZx_eFGd23NPrECe-Bzq54c5KOD-VqIVdY/s1600/Lady+gnome+flower+bulb+box+close+up.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiXTAWEJtV4iGuIwOKJvEL3EKrCeL59T_a11Hy8BVzRQ4wwbtVoA-uGn6F0fSpq2aviuft4TKP6qUyAeqX4hlw43g9zjdT_Ib5RGqlvEyRs69eZx_eFGd23NPrECe-Bzq54c5KOD-VqIVdY/s1600/Lady+gnome+flower+bulb+box+close+up.jpg" height="480" width="358" /></a></div>
A close up of the adorable little Lady Gnome colored with Copic Markers and 3D paper pieced.<br />

Here you can see the milk carton separate from the holder. I used a purchased template to create this set, the <a href="http://mytimemadeeasy.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_5&products_id=571">Well Contained template from My Time Made Easy</a> (LOVE this template). As you can see I attached some of the gorgeous Wild Orchid Crafts flowers to the holder and some to the carton.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLq7n-gmuazEaLhkeF5aJ7GenAzOYi752isasKDwFY91E39zEAYDBN5G1eIRAQ4PRovRTDaDbGdHA3sNuRzQvn27ey8f5-WjYJ6PsI9LoF6EtFz6qV6kHLy4MGRBI8P9XCvWHCuyjO6auh/s1600/Lady+gnome+flower+bulb+box+side.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLq7n-gmuazEaLhkeF5aJ7GenAzOYi752isasKDwFY91E39zEAYDBN5G1eIRAQ4PRovRTDaDbGdHA3sNuRzQvn27ey8f5-WjYJ6PsI9LoF6EtFz6qV6kHLy4MGRBI8P9XCvWHCuyjO6auh/s1600/Lady+gnome+flower+bulb+box+side.jpg" height="480" width="358" /></a></div>
When the carton is put back in the holder they form a gorgeous flower corner together.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLK9rm4imtwIwmQwKrVGLoTo5grjhvMBMCupmTG6AIg-XuNuS58pe0C-qMSQxAunoC-JG0ZL00WukyiAHWWB_OxaWQdqsBrBiyxwFB-JSZDnGBG2rQdf_e7M90Vn8g0Qgv7EK82Xi7wrGz/s1600/Lady+gnome+flower+bulb+box+little+pieces.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLK9rm4imtwIwmQwKrVGLoTo5grjhvMBMCupmTG6AIg-XuNuS58pe0C-qMSQxAunoC-JG0ZL00WukyiAHWWB_OxaWQdqsBrBiyxwFB-JSZDnGBG2rQdf_e7M90Vn8g0Qgv7EK82Xi7wrGz/s1600/Lady+gnome+flower+bulb+box+little+pieces.jpg" height="388" width="480" /></a></div>
And the little pieces the Lady Gnome was made with.<br />
<br />
Hope you like my little milk carton filled with flower bulbs. Can't wait to give it to my mum! Have a fabulous day everybody!!!<br />

<br />
Today I'd like to show you a very girly card that I made for my sister in law's birthday with a cute little bear named <a href="http://www.sweetpeastamps.com/category_172/2/Conie-Fongs-Digi-Stamps.htm">Bella by Conie Fong</a>.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikyTcUvpvd0YVzMzcopW_i9g0PJ93hnaBAORffD9ao9TnZzz50bBiUJfVc4BarYxXU3XFtqFc86JWVZoPUSXuIZkxXtipPq6Q5yAuIPmo_qUNNi7pmGENuc-DVKfZhUzq_OyOztaSaPPGe/s1600/Bella.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikyTcUvpvd0YVzMzcopW_i9g0PJ93hnaBAORffD9ao9TnZzz50bBiUJfVc4BarYxXU3XFtqFc86JWVZoPUSXuIZkxXtipPq6Q5yAuIPmo_qUNNi7pmGENuc-DVKfZhUzq_OyOztaSaPPGe/s1600/Bella.jpg" height="373" width="480" /></a></div>
This is a gatefold card that opens in the middle and closes with the ribbon. You'll find a tutorial on hwo to make a gatefold card <a href="http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/gatefoldscorpal/">HERE</a>, I used different measurements though and I made an extra flap on the bottom to fold up into a pouch. I wanted to go real girly so pink in the coloring and paper and of course gorgeous pink and white flowers and those gorgeous pink crownpins (you'll find links to the products that I've used on the bottom of this post).<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6n_Dvcg6fEhaizAD8x49hGiyj3yCVK7s93L0awCVLy_90D6l3vc0tJAXF8wOcFN5rNIEh1Q3kckmjC86h4VPlVFUuJNdfTr3tFD2cyBU4YT8XkRyu01AalGLuoT4Hxpk9RsEzcFMoehCr/s1600/Bella+Close+up.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj6n_Dvcg6fEhaizAD8x49hGiyj3yCVK7s93L0awCVLy_90D6l3vc0tJAXF8wOcFN5rNIEh1Q3kckmjC86h4VPlVFUuJNdfTr3tFD2cyBU4YT8XkRyu01AalGLuoT4Hxpk9RsEzcFMoehCr/s1600/Bella+Close+up.jpg" height="480" width="358" /></a></div>
A close up of little Bella, colored with Copic Markers and 3D paper pieced. After coloring Bella I saw a picture of Conie Fong's coloring of Bella and noticed that she kept her tummy brown but I colored her to have a balletsuit and I think that looks pretty cute as well :). Not what the artist meant though ;).<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIeGdp1vBthWJ1-HYg1kVrVbSIfU1yjxU8bI1Xdk4Tje3KikA_u0J-QHJgqLnzxfi962WSUa97gccKSnME9qcxpwiwSa0EYj-hEMZJQWPPVFQUzz3cX4RqGsnCwHr9JdxdHAKv3ZnIviih/s1600/Bella+detail+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIeGdp1vBthWJ1-HYg1kVrVbSIfU1yjxU8bI1Xdk4Tje3KikA_u0J-QHJgqLnzxfi962WSUa97gccKSnME9qcxpwiwSa0EYj-hEMZJQWPPVFQUzz3cX4RqGsnCwHr9JdxdHAKv3ZnIviih/s1600/Bella+detail+1.jpg" height="480" width="356" /> </a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
A close up of the gorgeous flowers. Trellis roses, magnolias, open roses, rosebuds, fabric daisies, sweetheart blossoms and carnations on this picture and some cherry blossoms and cosmos daisies below.... a girly card has to have pretty flowers.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9R4ipkvwK03S1D3TC2vLx7WGFQ4zBZxAdmrFtn-2FDq5bCfP0PuyKrN6U_9TJQPW6odqyfvxvpBKW9aQsVu-xtIWqsvqh4ZiKEbzpOFNGBZ9D0YXRHPTfPZGKaXM3PapmwRC0KqrKtaeR/s1600/Bella+detail+2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9R4ipkvwK03S1D3TC2vLx7WGFQ4zBZxAdmrFtn-2FDq5bCfP0PuyKrN6U_9TJQPW6odqyfvxvpBKW9aQsVu-xtIWqsvqh4ZiKEbzpOFNGBZ9D0YXRHPTfPZGKaXM3PapmwRC0KqrKtaeR/s1600/Bella+detail+2.jpg" height="379" width="480" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And finally a close up of the cute little charm with a birthday cake that I added. So cute. Behind the corrugated kraft cardstock is the prettiest ribbon from The Ribbon Girl, <a href="http://www.ribbongirl.co.uk/catalog/glitter-organza-c-174.html">glittery organza ribbon</a>. It really is to pretty to hide away behind the corrugated cardstock, I had a hardtime telling myself that it looked pretty enough to not completely show it but it hurt a little bit tucking it away like this.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgApH3eL0LXQncefgDVjjHg8DD-mp_HgzfTTRrgXlnlQjglYB8QXo7jdpkXubr6sBFjMJ7HPSwKbLKBlz9E42c1Bs0O-JbhXkN2I71i0OuyJEutmmsMgTuG3tpJiAtRt-dOLbHeIckduB_h/s1600/Bella+inside.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgApH3eL0LXQncefgDVjjHg8DD-mp_HgzfTTRrgXlnlQjglYB8QXo7jdpkXubr6sBFjMJ7HPSwKbLKBlz9E42c1Bs0O-JbhXkN2I71i0OuyJEutmmsMgTuG3tpJiAtRt-dOLbHeIckduB_h/s1600/Bella+inside.jpg" height="290" width="480" /></a></div>
The inside of the gatefold card. Behind the paper with the roses is a flap for a giftcard or money.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXCaKZcZa0God6K6Hd-3FDzlnPC_aPzozDEhyphenhyphen2OGWTSk_Jt6kmhOpq6B231iOljnXc87hWVMr25NVTisEqbYIga-41MvUH3GCrIkCduUjP9MW_JacJ26VH1tabYkDM61727GgR9PW5bdZT/s1600/Bella+back.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXCaKZcZa0God6K6Hd-3FDzlnPC_aPzozDEhyphenhyphen2OGWTSk_Jt6kmhOpq6B231iOljnXc87hWVMr25NVTisEqbYIga-41MvUH3GCrIkCduUjP9MW_JacJ26VH1tabYkDM61727GgR9PW5bdZT/s1600/Bella+back.jpg" height="352" width="480" /></a></div>
The back of the card with my personal stamp :)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

And finally the little pieces Bella was made with. As you can see, frantage and stitches have already been applied to the base piece :).<br />

<br />
Today I'd like to show you a little gift that I made for my nextdoor neighbor. She has been kind enough to bring me tomatoes from her garden the past weeks and I thought it'd be a nice gesture to give her a little something to let her know that I really appreciate her kindness. In The Netherlands we have a saying "better a good neighbor then a far away friend" and I think that's true and I really appreciate the good neighbors that we have here.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAgGFM5LoLLT9FKbacPtry8hj12933bsTpwZovGIKydafybJG1W_usxJV_uA0Fc_uPwhnaUV46rAAS3pAIfuIH_fKcpPOXPci1MGN7wZYbmoy7V1tWDQAqGp5eJJVFuy0DrsJ2Cb3K_iHr/s1600/Poppy+box+front.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjAgGFM5LoLLT9FKbacPtry8hj12933bsTpwZovGIKydafybJG1W_usxJV_uA0Fc_uPwhnaUV46rAAS3pAIfuIH_fKcpPOXPci1MGN7wZYbmoy7V1tWDQAqGp5eJJVFuy0DrsJ2Cb3K_iHr/s1600/Poppy+box+front.jpg" height="466" width="480" /></a></div>
I made a small cablebox using <a href="http://www.cards-etc-shop.com/nl/doosjes-tasjes-meer/814-gable-box.html">THIS</a> purchased template and filled it with chocolates. I used Polly from Wee Stamps (<a href="http://www.weestamps.com/?page_id=27">digital image</a>/<a href="http://www.whimsystamps.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=19_42&products_id=3411">rubber stamp</a>) as I think she's perfect for just about every theme. As always she was colored with Copic Markers and completely 3D paper pieced. I decided to go for a red/blue and white color scheme.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizesoPnv6czSEtn4RkiOm5LEmLeMJAJiXM1sO7s0pOx3cidaTzYw7sMnb1H5O8D-N7DeWMbEtDvkamNZIrx7FKHfZ01LORAN4NIStVh1bCLkUlucK77dHZsNlwb7Jchk4_YXVU-y-iKko8/s1600/Poppy+box+back.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizesoPnv6czSEtn4RkiOm5LEmLeMJAJiXM1sO7s0pOx3cidaTzYw7sMnb1H5O8D-N7DeWMbEtDvkamNZIrx7FKHfZ01LORAN4NIStVh1bCLkUlucK77dHZsNlwb7Jchk4_YXVU-y-iKko8/s1600/Poppy+box+back.jpg" height="480" width="472" /></a></div>
The back of the box with a computer generated sentiment that reads Bedankt which means Thank you in Dutch. I love this flower cluster with all these gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. You'll find links to the different flowers below.<br />

<br />
Today I'd like to show you a box I made for my hubby's aunt and uncle who are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary next Saturday. I'm pretty sure they don't follow me on my blog or Facebook so I think it's OK to show it already :). <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjY_oBM74LhpL3A5rPjcSU5EfFLmqR_50skvraLqHcSAZb-73XNdQ3_FfzDywx7atQCulNw-zoHp4qypQ3QxDExir7JYAuuqJw0VGfb_P4oDTTRfUKMFiJyRdlkcSy4mWRDo0YWEXFXz-ov/s1600/Ted+Agnes.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjY_oBM74LhpL3A5rPjcSU5EfFLmqR_50skvraLqHcSAZb-73XNdQ3_FfzDywx7atQCulNw-zoHp4qypQ3QxDExir7JYAuuqJw0VGfb_P4oDTTRfUKMFiJyRdlkcSy4mWRDo0YWEXFXz-ov/s1600/Ted+Agnes.jpg" height="425" width="480" /></a></div>
The image that I used is by a company that's new to me, JustInkLined, it's called <a href="http://www.justinklined.com/digital-stamps-wedding/Digital%20Stamp%20Ted%20and%20Agnes">Ted and Agnes</a>. I went searching for images and showed a couple to my hubby and a little to my disappointment he kept saying he liked this one best. I had hoped to make a more romantic box and was a little scared of working with this image but since it's his aunt and uncle and he insisted they'd love a funny image I decided that it'd have to be this one. The sentiment is computer generated and in Dutch but probably speaks for itself.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfrak1DHs0GSTEcm93UNj1r-hkrmbqVfWVedqnVcFNtVOozNoK-MWo1Zlr1YhEc67Gy-pNa4Z7kSPWWPe8q7_NDogIu5CRVR0hqqvSVqXBwlnJz7G8DFGsp_Qi6PgQv2OJtFLbZPH-4G4v/s1600/Ted+Agnes+close+up.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgfrak1DHs0GSTEcm93UNj1r-hkrmbqVfWVedqnVcFNtVOozNoK-MWo1Zlr1YhEc67Gy-pNa4Z7kSPWWPe8q7_NDogIu5CRVR0hqqvSVqXBwlnJz7G8DFGsp_Qi6PgQv2OJtFLbZPH-4G4v/s1600/Ted+Agnes+close+up.jpg" height="406" width="480" /></a></div>
A close up of Ted and Agnes. As always colored with Copic Markers and 3D paper pieced.<br />

A sideview of the box. I have no idea where I bought this box, it's been in my cupboard for a while waiting to be used. Now wish I had another because I think it's perfect for an occasion like this one.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
And the little pieces the image was made of. There were lots of little pieces :). I didn't take down the Copic numbers I'm afraid but if you have a specific question I'm sure I can tell you what Copic markers were used, just let me know.</div>

<br />
I'm back with my second Christmas card of this year, even though it doesn't have a sentiment on the outside :). I decided to try out an image by an artist who is pretty new to me, Conie Fong. She sells her images both in digi and rubber through <a href="http://www.sweetpeastamps.com/">Sweet Pea Stamps</a> which was also a first for me. My crafting friend Ria van Son has been using their images for some time now and especially the Conie Fong ones really got me interested. I purchased two digi's and this is the first card I did with the first image:<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXX6rgdGq_t-wdGHYNL_-ApDtPj1EJ_IvLxOHTBCc3WqDEz8UqiU6VF-3axXiZ4k9OSX14WR7jNluTjon59f5a0BGVJbfNYzbKSDGFP9fs_UQu7gllApBxTlc-lt01vBFF-eeYq_Gxomcs/s1600/Sally+and+snowball.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXX6rgdGq_t-wdGHYNL_-ApDtPj1EJ_IvLxOHTBCc3WqDEz8UqiU6VF-3axXiZ4k9OSX14WR7jNluTjon59f5a0BGVJbfNYzbKSDGFP9fs_UQu7gllApBxTlc-lt01vBFF-eeYq_Gxomcs/s1600/Sally+and+snowball.jpg" height="360" width="480" /></a></div>
Isn't that image just adorable? She's called Sally and Snowball and is available as a rubber stamp <a href="http://www.sweetpeastamps.com/category_92/Conie-Fongs-Art-Collection.htm">HERE</a> and as a digi <a href="http://www.sweetpeastamps.com/category_172/3/Conie-Fongs-Digi-Stamps.htm">HERE</a>. I've added some snow here and there for an extra wintery card.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Here is a close up of sweet little Sally, as always colored with Copic markers and 3D paper pieced.<br />

Also some snow on the pretty Wild Orchid Crafts flowers (listed below) and have you seen that gorgeous Diamant Heart Embellishment by The Ribbon Girl? Absolutely love that and have been wanting to do a purple card for some time now just to be able to use that gorgeous heart :). The ribbon is also from The Ribbon Girl, you'll find links below.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

And the little pieces the image was made of.<br />

<br />
I have used another brand I hadn't used before :). I love not being on teams at the moment because it gives me all this room to use what I want to use instead of what's due for a new release. Of course I am on the team of Wild Orchid Crafts but that's just a really big thing to be thankful for because I absolutely adore their flowers and embellishments. Anyway, today I'm showing you a card I did with a stamp by Wild Rose Sutdio, Bella with Teddy. I bought this stamp a while back and think it's SO cute!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSi_owoEeMaEYfSWEN79XUoX9BMBxLPmf742s-ha3DXlFh3g0hVodzjIgESKjDZwAR1duhi-_de2af4aFcQE-3tH9HT_hZJ_H_do_wqQaX0GTGAibZAR50UHWkjVGFNMjui-eLj_0wJ6gv/s1600/Bella+with+Teddy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjSi_owoEeMaEYfSWEN79XUoX9BMBxLPmf742s-ha3DXlFh3g0hVodzjIgESKjDZwAR1duhi-_de2af4aFcQE-3tH9HT_hZJ_H_do_wqQaX0GTGAibZAR50UHWkjVGFNMjui-eLj_0wJ6gv/s1600/Bella+with+Teddy.jpg" height="444" width="480" /></a></div>
Isn't that image adorable? The sentiment comes with the stamp and though the set is clear, and I really really really prefer rubber stamps to clear ones, I have to admit that the impressions I get with this set is pretty good.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwNbqPh8EPT1OfSVlAXTUMhlSaM_64J9O4GxMNFzz7E4OSXdQgx454OrSuZOfpre_Tvjx8JbcKyTtC-HYuKl6OjU3AvaK6Np36HvyuefwBwFH0k-1HI6kE8HG6WjDUrcVWflrB1l2YH_Yt/s1600/Bella+with+Teddy+Close+up.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwNbqPh8EPT1OfSVlAXTUMhlSaM_64J9O4GxMNFzz7E4OSXdQgx454OrSuZOfpre_Tvjx8JbcKyTtC-HYuKl6OjU3AvaK6Np36HvyuefwBwFH0k-1HI6kE8HG6WjDUrcVWflrB1l2YH_Yt/s1600/Bella+with+Teddy+Close+up.jpg" height="391" width="480" /></a></div>
A close up of cute little Bella with Teddy. Now I don't think you can see the 3D effect very well on this picture so....<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjm2lJUPaEgCAa0_BxQ2d8Ga5HfWfrBJNWh6n-THLeuEBKtoH_mnSzyiciXS5wPo3K5mnQgSjXNpEOh4GK8ejx8dgTPJAfkox2DbIt0uC2cFHwbLeX-SEuiytSWqEH3MdG7Liw7ZB8uPyfU/s1600/Bella+with+Teddy+Close+up2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjm2lJUPaEgCAa0_BxQ2d8Ga5HfWfrBJNWh6n-THLeuEBKtoH_mnSzyiciXS5wPo3K5mnQgSjXNpEOh4GK8ejx8dgTPJAfkox2DbIt0uC2cFHwbLeX-SEuiytSWqEH3MdG7Liw7ZB8uPyfU/s1600/Bella+with+Teddy+Close+up2.jpg" height="382" width="480" /></a></div>
This is a picture I took last night before the card was done and before glitters and liquid pearls were added but I think this image shows the depth much better.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

And of course the little pieces :).<br />
<br />
The Copics that I used are:<br />
Elephant skin: C5, C3, C1, C0, C00, CB and then also a bit of W3, W1, W0, W00 on places where shade would be.<br />
Pink parts of Elephant: R24, R22, R20, R00, R0000 and some W3, W1, W0, W00<br />
Hearts: R24, R22, R20, R00<br />

<br />
Hope you like my card and get a chance to be creative yourself this Sunday!<br />

<br />
I'm back with a new project! I have been fascinated by all these jar recipes that I have seen on internet. I think they are so cute to give as a gift, maybe for a teacher or when you go to visit a friend. And when I first noticed my friend Alberto Gava, a.k.a. LoShakerato Alberto, a.k.a. Shaky A.'s image <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/197332775/shaky-a-margot-digital-stamp-set?ref=related-0">Margot</a> I new she'd be perfect to decorate one of those jars. So when Alberto asked me if I wanted to be a guest designer my choice was easily made :). Thank you so much sweetie for having me! Here is the project I made with his sweet <a href="https://www.etsy.com/listing/197332775/shaky-a-margot-digital-stamp-set?ref=related-0">Margot</a>.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnUSzWN4HC225xSgKOaso71yWMQA8uvZipd8RX9IlsMacMLwYcu0FIFo2FOKKxixCDEBtzBIloiOAwKW_wfq40RsLW3QUnIPE3zMmHSQxMpAWjOJCp6KboW6rWcc3rbBe2VUi9dhi15D8Z/s1600/Margot+jar+filled+with+brownies.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnUSzWN4HC225xSgKOaso71yWMQA8uvZipd8RX9IlsMacMLwYcu0FIFo2FOKKxixCDEBtzBIloiOAwKW_wfq40RsLW3QUnIPE3zMmHSQxMpAWjOJCp6KboW6rWcc3rbBe2VUi9dhi15D8Z/s1600/Margot+jar+filled+with+brownies.jpg" height="480" width="379" /></a></div>
I have filled the jar with a brownies recipe that I found <a href="http://gewoonmarieke.com/2011/09/05/pot-vol-browniesbrownies-in-a-jar/">HERE</a>. This Dutch lady, Marieke, has both the Dutch and the English recipe on her blog and she also sells gorgeous labels to decorate a jar if you want a simpler decoration. She uses a smaller jar so I have multiplied the amounts of ingredient to fill up my liter jar. For my Dutch readers/ voor mijn Nederlandse lezers, ik heb de pot gekocht bij Dille & Camille <a href="http://www.dille-kamille.nl/nl/shop/c/110/a/1003/beugelpot-vierkant-inhoud-1-l?ab_test=c904d">HIER</a>.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The back of my jar holds the instructions that Marieke provides on her blog... in Dutch of course.... but just realized while type this that I should have multiplied the amounts there as well.... oh well, I have it saved so will just print it again and glue over it :).<br />

And the side of the jar where you'll see the layers with ingredients. My layers aren't perfect but I read somewhere on her blog later that you get these better if you put pressure on each new layer with a cocktail muddler so I'll try that next time.<br />

I hope you like my project. I'll bake this first batch of brownies this weekend because I do feel you need to try something first before you give it away (nothing to do with the fact that I love brownies ;) ). I'll post a picture after I've baked them. Hope you all have a great weekend!!<br />
<br />
Hugs,<br />

<br />
You may remember that I did a couple of <a href="http://mytimemadeeasy.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7_5&products_id=90">Slip Cover boxes by My Time Made Easy</a> before. This template is really simple to make and I love how you can decorate these boxes. Since each year I have some last minute teacher gifts to make (and I hate last minute work) I decided that this year I'm going to create about one gift up front so that when the time comes that I need them I have some at hand (or I could use them as a small gift when we go visit people or something like that). This is my first for this year and I hope you like it.<br />

The image that I used is one of the newly released images by Tiddly Inks, <a href="http://www.tiddlyinks.com/willow-the-birthday-fairy-digital-stamp/">Willow the Birthday Fairy</a>.<br />
