I can't believe how late I am with my card for Sketch Saturday!!! I had planned to do it yesterday but then we had guests and they stayed way later then I had expected and I just didn't get around to it. But it's done now!! I had this Sassafrass paper I had left from a workshop I'd joined a couple of months ago and I thought that would be the perfect base for a card for Angela. And since there is an owl on the paper I thought I'd use Q.T. Hooty by Pink Cat studio. Here is my card:
Now I have to tell you... it's not like my usual cards, it's way to bright and busy but I think that fits Angela :).

Now you can hate this card... but I did it with my sister in law in mind and I'm hoping she'll love it :).

Mariska, I actually love this card!! I think you did an awesome job with the sketch and all the added layers! The flowers and buttons are just adorable and that letter A is the perfect touch! This sketch kind of intimidated me when I saw it, but after seeing your card, now I feel like I can actually attempt! Always love your work! Have a great weekend!

I was late with my card too. It's so frustrating when you plan time to craft and then 'stuff happens' and the plans go to pot. Nothing like a deadline to get me going... my card only just made it in the nic of time!
