Just @ Note Memo chalkboard

Hey everybody!!

I'm back today with a project that I made both for Let's Get Bizzee! and Whimsy Stamps. From Let's Get Bizzee I received this adorable 3-pieced Harmonica Booklet and Let's Get Bizzee Chalkboard foil, I didn't have to use these to together, because the chalkboard foil can be used on just about anything, but when I saw the February release by 2 Cute Ink for Whimsy Stamps I knew I had to pair them up with the Write, Paint, Create! stampset.

The papers I have used are from my old stash so you won't be able to find them in stores anymore. The letters are Thickers and I used tangerine Stickles around the chalkboard foil. If you want to read how I made this project please visit the Let's Get Bizzee blog today, there will be a small tutorial there, it will be in Dutch but if you have any question just ask them here and I'll answer them.  And since the light was horrible when I took these pictures also a second picture of the completed project :)

As always the animals were colored with Copic Markers and completely 3D paper pieced.

And the little pieces to proof it :). If you want to try 3D paper piecing for the first time 2 Cute Ink is a very good stamp brand to start with.

New release at Wee Stamps and Whimsy Stamps with sample and candy

Hi everybody!!

Today I have a project with an image I've been wanting to color for ages! But let me start by telling you that today is release-day both at Whimsy Stamps and Wee Stamps. The details about the Whimsy release are at the bottom of this post. The project I am showing today has been made for Wee Stamps but this stamp is also available as a rubber stamp through Whimsy Stamps.

Now about my project. For todays project I'm using a lovely new addition to the Wee Stamps family, Dreamy Dragon. Sylvia showed me the first sketches of this dragon in August of 2011 and for me it was instant love. She went on sketching other gorgeous things though and I had to remind her about this dragon a couple of times but now finally he is being released. And Sylvia offered me one of these gorgeous little dragons as a digital image to give to one person who comments under this post. So leave a comment before Saturday 26th and I will draw one comment and will send him or her this precious digi.

Wouldn't this look gorgeous in any baby room? I personally think it's to precious to hang on a door :). The base is the same MDF Door Hanger by Let's Get Bizzee that I used for the Wee Stamps Playful Kittens doorhanger. Let's Get Bizzee started in January of this year and sells their products wholesale. If you want one of these gorgeous doorhangers to work with or one of the other gorgeous products Let's Get Bizzee has in their collection be sure to ask your favorite craft store to stock their products.

I have decorated the doorhanger with papers from the Fika collection by Maja Design. The white ribbon is from stash and the gorgeous flowers and rhinestones are bought at Wild Orchid Crafts. The purple chandeliers are by Magnolia. The green vines are cut with a die set by Whimsy Stamps. The letters are Thickers.

Dreamy dragon was as always colored with Copic Markers. I'll list the colors used below (I get asked a lot but I often forget to take them down while coloring). Isn't he just adorable?

And the little pieces this precious little dragon was made of. 

Now if you want to buy your own little dragon to color remember you have the choice to buy him as a digital image or as a rubber stamp.

Whimsy Release day 6, Doorhanger with Playful kittens

Hi everybody!!

 

Today I'm back with my first sample for the Whimsy Stamps December release. Before I start telling about the release I want to tell you all that I have been asked to be a design team member for a new wholesale company, Let's Get Bizzee. The doorhanger I used today is the first product I'll be showing on my blog (the Let's Get Bizzee MDF deurhanger) but you can expect more gorgeous MDF and other craft products to be used here in the future. These products will be available in craft stores from the beginning of January. When your favorite craft store isn't selling Let's Get Bizzee products (yet) and you see something you HAVE to have, be sure to let your favorite craft store know!!

 

Now on about the release!! On Monday (17 December) Whimsy Stamps released this month's new rubber designs, Shapeology dies, Whimsy Designer Paper packs, Shape EZ templates and *new* Whimsy Prints pre-coloured toppers. From then until 23 December the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new goodies with a daily mini blog hop and I am part of today’s hop!

For my sample I couldn't help but use Sylvia Zet's latest Wee Stamps masterpiece, the absolutely ADORABLE Playful Kittens.

Now this set comes with FOUR absolutely adorable kittens AND with three sweet sentiments. They are super quick to color (even when you 3D)  and they are perfect for small projects or larger projects where you want your sentiment or in my case a little poem to be the main focus. Like I told you on the beginning of this post I decorated this gorgeous doorhanger by Let's Get Bizzee. I found this little sleeptime poem somewhere on the internet, it was about a cat but I figured a kitten fitted my images much better. The poem was mounted on a shape that was cut with Whimsy's Double Scallop Doilly Die. The swirls are from a Magnolia die and flowers and ribbon are (mostly) Wild Orchid Crafts. Everything has been hand stitched and distressed with Tea Die distress ink, a distresser tool, a sanding block, Picket Fence Crackle Paint and Diamond Stickles. Also I have added some liquid pearls here and there.
