Enchanted Lily release!!

Good morning everybody!!

I hope you have been enjoying the sneak peeks of the new Enchanted Lily set we have been showing you the last two days. Today is the day the stamps are officially released. And here they are:

It has been such a pleasure playing with them, they are just so lovely to colour and to paper piece and they are just so enchanting. If you want a set of your own (and I can't imagine anybody who wouldn't want one) you can find them here.

Now I have had the pleasure of showing you three cards I did with the stamps from this set but that of course means there is one stamp left. I have of course done a card already with this stamp when it was just a digi-image but this time I had the pleasure of stamping her up:

The papers and flowers are from my first Card-Art card kit. I was on the waitinglist for this kit for forever and had almost given up hope but then I got a message last month that I could become a card kit member if I wanted to.... didn't take me long to think about that one. The papers in this months kit are Basic Grey and though I don't think I normally would have bought them I loved using them on this card. The beads I bought at the Kruitvat (for the Dutchies) on sale and the butterfly bead I bought at shop where I had the Fimo Workshop some time ago. the butterfly I did by hand and I added some small beads on there as a little body. The sketch for this card is Sketch Saturday sketch no. 37 by my dear friend Jeanette. I had no mojo at all left last week but her sketch gave me wings. I love how this card turned out. Day two of the Enchanted Lily release by Pink Cat Studio

A very good Sunday to all of you!!

I hope you are back to see the two enchanted Lily sneak peeks I promissed you... and if you are not back because of that reason... I have them for you anyway and you are going to LOVE them. First let me start with a message I forgot yesterday... I know you'll want to own these gorgeous fairies yourself and they'll be for sale tomorrow, the 23rd. Completely forgot to mention that yesterday so needed to get that out of the way. Now on with today's peeks.

First let me introduce you to the ladybug Enchanted Lily: Don't you love her? I 3d'd her with foam cubes and used black velvet cardstock from doodlebug and red sparkly paper from Doodlebug. The sentiment is also in the new set. The flower, the ribbon and the little ladybug are from stash, the black flowers are also velvet. The little brads are Queen & Co and the large flower I used for decoration is also Doodlebug (did I mention I'm a Doodlebug crazy?). Here is a close up of the gorgeous ladybug fairy Melissa created for us:

Now for the second card, this is my personal favourite. I did my best on all cards but this one just came out as I wanted it to:

Don't you love that gorgeous image? It was so much fun to colour I am absolutely going to be using this one over and over again. The make a wish sentiment is also included in the new set. Again a whole lot of Doodlebug on this one. Green glittery cardstock, Pink velvet cardstock and velvet design paper and the rubbons are also Doodlebug and have a glitter as well. You'll probably have already seen that the decoration flowers are also doodlebug as are the glitter brads I used in the center of the flowers. Just like my card I presented yesterday, again a lot of handstitching on this one. I have all this DMC from when I was embroidering a lot (is that even a word?) and I'm now making good use of it again :). Her is a front view of the card:

And a close up of the image. Again a lot of 3d on this one with foam cubes.

And because I love this card so much I had to finish the inside (and back but no picture of that) as well. Again with Doodlebug paper and rubon of course:

The inside sentiment isn't in this set but it is actually from the Lily & Tweet set by Pink Cat Studio. I thought it would work well with the Make a Wish sentiment on the front.

Anyway... can't wait to see what gorgeous creations my fellow Design Team member and our Guest Design Team Member Suzanne have made with these enchanting stamps. I completely was in love with all of their creations yesterday and I just know they'll have some stunning examples today. First day of the Pink Cat Studio Sneak Peeks!!

Good morning to you all!!


As you probably already know, today is the first day of the sneak peeks of the Enchanted Lily stamps by Pink Cat Studio!!!!! I know a lot of you have been waiting for this particular stamp set.


I'm sure you will all love these gorgeous new fairies just as much as I do. Melissa again did an amazing job... she is just so talented (you should see what is coming next month). The new set contains four gorgeous stamps and sentiments to go with them. Today we will all be showing you our cards with this lovely enchanted Lily on the swing. And... here is what I did with this stamp:



This card took me hours to create, there is an incredible amount of handstitching on there (I don't have a machine) but the end result is not as pretty as I had it in my head. I do hope you like it though... one thing is for sure, you've got to love this gorgeous image!

I'm sure my fellow Design Team members (I've added their links on the right) have created incredible creations with this stamp so be sure to check them out, I know I will. And this month we are joined by our first Guest Designer, Suzanne Dean. I have been a big fan of Suzanne's work since I first started searching for inspiration to use my stamps. A link to Suzanne's site has been on my blog since I started it so.. I guess that tells you enough about how gorgeous I think Suzanne's work is. I can't wait to see what gorgeous things Suzanne will do with the new release. So good to have you on the team this month Suzanne!!!

Sketch Saturday week 33

Good morning everybody!!

Time for another Sketch Saturday!! Jo came up with some brilliant sketches for this year so be ready!!! Here is this weeks sketch: I still had to make a card with Fairy Lily Melissa created for the PCS competition on Paper Craft Planet (see two or three posts down!!), well, I didn't have to but I wanted to. So I decided to use Lily for this weeks Sketch at Sketch Saturday. I turned her into a birthday card for my nextdoor neighbour girl Nena who will be turning 8 on the 20th.

A little bit of girly pink, and a whole lot of glitter!!

The pink cardstock has a preglittered design and the background paper has glittery ellements as well. Combined with stickles on different parts of Lily and the chalk I used as a background whcih also has got some glitter in it makes it a sprakly card, which I think fits a fairy. I loved colouring Fairy Lily and Melissa already told people on Paper Crafts that she is doing a new set with Fairy Lily so I think I can tell that here as well. I love seeing what Melissa comes up with. And you can see the January release from next Monday, then the sneak peaks start!!

Pink Cat Studio Contest

Hello everybody,

Sorry that I've been away. With Christmas and New Years and a nasty bug that keeps hunting me I just haven't had a lot of time to create or to visit your blogs. I still have a fever and I feel pretty miserable but I'm hoping that will pass in a day or two. This gorgeous new creation by Melissa helped to cheer me up though:

Isn't she lovely!! And you can use her to create a card and win some lovely stamps with it! Here are the details I've copied from the Pink Cat Studio Blog:

"To celebrate the New Year I thought it would be fun to have a card making contest! The winner of the contest will receive her choice of any PCS stamp set including the Lily & Billy Sweethearts and Kiki Kitty stamps that will be released on January 15th.As I mentioned this is a card making contest. On January 14th the design team and I will select a card as the winner of the contest and the winner will be announced on the company blog on January 15th.On January 14th, I will create a photo album on Paper Craft Planet and I will display all of the cards that were submitted for the contest.
