If there is one thing Melissa from Pink Cat Studio can do is get me back in the mood to create. As I mentioned in my post about my blog candy I did place a couple of orders in my non-crafting period but of course never used a single one of them. After finishing the sneak peeks for PCS though I just had to ink at least one of them... finally :). I decided to use Huckabee by Whipper Snapper stamps, when I saw him on the Whipper Snapper site I knew he had to be mine and with my blog candy in mind I ended up ordering two of them, one will be making its way over to Cheng pretty soon now. But here is the card I did with him:
As you can see it is a card for my next-door neighbour girl Nena who will be turning nine on the 20th of this month. Here is a close up of cute little Huckabee:
Colouring as always with both my Copics and Derwent Watercolour Pencils with some Stickles here and there. Papers are Basic Grey Bittersweet and Craft cardstock, I saw a card on another blog the other day (sorry don't remember which one but thank you mystery inspirator) with these papers and knew I had to get it out again.Hope you like little Huckabee and what I did with him!

I feel the same way about Melissa! I was having a hard time getting back into crafting after the holidays but getting to play with Melissa's Paper Piecing Projects really got me feeling crafty! This card is SO cute! Fabulous coloring! That image is just the sweetest... must get my hands on it! :)
