Good morning everybody!!
As I told you in my 'candypost' below this one (you have two more days to enter!!) there is a new Pink Cat Studio release coming up on January 7th... tomorrow :).
Today is sneak peek day and Melissa has a contest for you where you can win the entire new digi-release! In this release there are also 3 new rubber stamps:
* Lily Valentine Ballerina
* Lily Valentine Fairy and
* Pixies Make a Cupcake
And there are the 5 new digis that you can also win in the contest:
* Lily & Billy Laying in Hearts
* Valentine Kitty and
the 3 designs that are also in rubber.
Now for the contest; let me introduce you to some new characters in the Pink Cat Studio!Aren't they cute? They are pixies and if you go to the Pink Cat Studio blog you can guess what names they have. There are four names to pick from but you'll find all of the details on the Pink Cat Studio blog so don't forget to visit there after you've finished reading my post!
I have done two cards with the new release, I'll show you one with the pixies today and tomorrow on release day I'll show you the other card.
My first easel card! I know I haven't done much crafting lately but I did take out some time to check out other blogs and saw a whole lot of these cards... I had to give them a try and I have to say I loved making this one. I used THIS tutorial but I know there are tons out there and you have probably tried one yourself anyway :). Here is a close up of the Pixies making the cupcake:
Now layers this time, don't worry, they are there in my card tomorrow :). Coloring as always done with both my Copics and my Derwent Watercolor Pencils and the hearts were embossed with Zing Embossing Powder Pink Glitter and Stampendous Embossing Powder Red Tinsel. I had both powders for ages but never used them before but love the effect. I prefer the Stampendous one though, the Zing one has a white embossing powder to go with the pink glitter the Stampendous one has both embossing powder and glitter in the same shade of red. This is the front of my card:
All papers used are from the Love Bandit Kit I bought from my friend Nikki over at Bunny Zoe's Crafts. The flowers are Mulberry Flora Doodles in different shades. The sentiment used is included with the stamp used:
There are two sentiments included with this stamp and of course the sentiments will also be available if you decide to buy the digi version of the image.
Well I hope you like this sneak peek. If you want to check out more sneak peeks be sure to check the blogs of my fellow PCS DT members:
Mariska van der Veer
Suzanne J. Dean
And remember I'll be back tomorrow with another sneak peek of my own :).
Have a great day everybody!!
