Hopping Bunny box

Hi girls!!

I told you already that I had the digi-Easter release by Pink Cat Studio printed and ready to use. So yesterday my oldest Dyanne and I decided to do a little crafting together and I decided to make this cute Peek-a-boo box I'd seen a tutorial of on Splitcoast Stampers. Now the tutorial is for a normal box and I decided to do an easel one like someone in the gallery for this box had done before me. The only adjustment I made was fold the top lid in half and glue another 2x2 inch square on the front half of that fold. Now when you open the box you can simply fold the top lid and put the tab that closes the box in the fold where the box closes. Hope that makes sense :S. I decorated the new top square et voila:
The new digi image I used is called Hopping bunnies and actually has three of these cute little bunnies hopping around but I decided to just use this one for this little box. The materials I've used (cardstock, design paper and ribbon) are all from the last Card Art monthly card kit, I thought these springy papers would be perfect for this little box and the ribbon was the perfect finish. The little bunny was colored with Copics only (which I think shows... should have used my Derwents as well :S) and the tail was puffed with a little liquid applique, I got that idea from Lysa Rohrer who did an amazing job as a guest designer for the Pink Cat Studio Easter release, her tails look way better though! This was actually my first time with liquid applique, I had bought it but hadn't used it yet. The image was done in 3D and I've added just a few very little drops of stickles around the circles I made with my nesties. Oh the whiskers on the bunny are not in the digi but I have to admit I smudged a little bit on the bunny's cheek and I didn't want to start all over so I decided to add the whiskers. The little box is filled with sugared rice puffs, no idea if they sell them everywhere in the world or what they are called but that would be my translation :). Dyanne has already claimed this box :), hope you guys like it too.

Have a great day everybody!!!
