Elisabeth Bell's debut release at Whimsy Stamps!! With a sample and a surprise :)

On Monday we announced the wonderful news that Whimsy Stamps has welcomed the amazing Elisabeth Bell to our family of Whimsy Stamps artists.

The Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests have been previewing these beautiful stamps for the past 2 days, and today we are celebrating their release with a BLOG HOP!

The hop starts today (Wednesday March 7th at 12.00PM EST) and ends on Wednesday March 14th at 12.00PM EST.

For this hop we have five different prize draws! One lucky hopper will win the entire new release of ALL four stamps. We also have four mini candy stops throughout the hop where you can enter to win a new release stamp and if you look down you will see that you have hit one of the candy stops! We're not telling you where the other candy stops are, so be sure to complete the hop to find them!

Here is the card I have created for todays release (sorry if the pictures aren't to my usual standard, my husband clicked on a link yesterday and downloaded a malware virus or something that messed the computer up completely, he has been busy since trying to get it right so I couldn't use my trusted PSP and had to download a free photo editing program for our MacBook Pro.... couldn't get the results I get with PSP though, I feel the pictures look a little "flat" and somehow here are a couple of white thingies in the first pictures that aren't in the original):

This precious image is called Sun Kissed and for me it was instant love. The pretty papers I have used are digi papers created by an also new talent at Whimsy Stamps, Michelle Roos. Michelle's papers are gorgeous and there are already four sets in the store. I printed the digi papers on 6x6 squares of white cardstock and only added some white and kraft colored cardstock to finish things. This gorgeous set is called Rose Garden. The sentiments are also available at Whimsy Stamps, they are by Raindrop Echo Designs and this set is called Friendship Notables 2 and come with a matching die. Finally I have used one of the pretty corners that was released at Whimsy in a set of four in February and you can find those HERE.  I finished the card with pretty flowers by Wild Orchid Crafts and The Ribbon Girl and I have used some lace, velvet ribbon and a square doily from stash. The white pearls, white liquid pearls and platinum and diamond Stickles finish things of.

Here is a close up of the precious image. As always she was colored using my Copic markers and 3D paper pieced for extra dimension.

And for the people who love to check out the little pieces, here they are. The people who check these out often will see that I haven't cut the flowers yet at this stage, I do that at the very end one by one.
