A heartfelt welcome with Holly by Wee Stamps

Hi everybody!!

I've been crafting a lot, just nothing I can show yet but I do have one thing to put on my blog.

Now you may have seen this already on the Copic Marker Europe blog yesterday. A few weeks ago my friend Sylvia Zet, owner and creator at Wee Stamps, showed me this gorgeous image she was working on and I almost begged her if I could use it for my next CME project. Her name is Holly and I absolutely LOVE her. She will be released as a rubber stamp by Whimsy Stamps in September but you can already purchase her as a digi from Wee Stamps.

I had seen these slate hearts in a folder for a do it yourself store last year and since my husband was going to that store asked him to bring me one. Sweet as he can be he didn't just get me the star though but also found these big hearts that he thought I could use. I have been waiting for the right time to use them and I knew Holly would be perfect so I took the first one and decorated it:

Now this heart isn't very small, it's about 30 cm's on the longest side. I printed the image at about 9 cm's on the longest side, I expect the stamps will be around that size when they come out in September. The pretty paper is Basic Grey and I have been keeping this paper for a special project as well. The gorgeous poinsettia flowers are Prima and the holly is a Sizzix die. I have added some fake snow using liquid applique.

And, the little pieces, al ready and waiting to be turned into pretty Holly again.
