My Little Pony birthdaycard for Dyanne

Hey everybody!!

 

Sorry for being so quiet. I am crafting and have two cards all done but can't show those yet because one is for a magazine and the second is for the Copic Marker Europe blog on the 20th of October. I am working on a third but that is for the Whimsy Stamps October release and that isn't for another two weeks either.

 

However, I didn't show the birthday card I did for Dyanne on the 24th of September on my blog yet. It was on the Copic Marker Europe blog on Dyanne's actual birthday though so you may have already seen it.

I didn't use a stamp on this card. My daughter loves My Little Pony, funny thing is I did to when I was her age but they have changed so much since then. Anyway, since she is a little like this pony called Rainbowdash, colorfull and energetic, I decided to make a card with her. I used a coloring page that Dyanne herself has colored a million times before but resized it to the size of a stamp. I then used the image as I would use any digi image. I colored Rainbowdash in her actual colors using my Copic Markers and she was of course 3D paperpieced. The stars were punched out of cardstock using 3 different sizes of brandless punches that I bought at a craft fair, I stickled them up with matching colors. The pretty rhinestones are Doodlebug, the best brand when you want to go colorfull :).

The background was done using a handcut template of a cloud and distress inks, the white dots were done with a gelpen.

Dyanne loves her card, it is on her nightstand and she shows it to anybody who wants to see it.
