Week 20 at Sketch Saturday!!

Sorry for the late post. It has been a busy day. But soccer is about to start so my hubby won't mind if I take a little time behind the laptop at Saturday evening. Another Sketch Saturday with another amazing Sketch by Jo.When I first saw this Sketch I had all these ideas. In the end I came up with this card:
Materials used:
Stamps are all Elzybells
Vellum (orange), cardstock and design papers are from my box with scraps of paper
Coloured with my Copic Markers and Sakura Gelly Rolls
The flowers are coated with Bella Liquid Watercolour Glitter by Stamping Bella
Sakura Souffle pen for the edges of the papers

Now let me start with saying that this isn't my best card ever. I love the stamps but they are not really my 'thing' since I like working with layers and these stamps just aren't really cut out for that. I do love the glitter and shimmer in this card though. I hope that shows on the second picture. And the colours are very bright which I like. Still, there are way better cards thinkable with Jo's sketch and I'm sure to try again. My fellow Design Team members did do an amazing job in their cards, you should really check them out! And please feel free to give Jo's sketch a try and show me how it's done. I just didn't have my mojo in making this card I guess. I'm currently busy with next weeks card and I promiss... that one is going to be way better. Still, hope the bright colours did brighten your day just a little bit and I'd love to see what you come up with!
