Sorry for being a bit late today. I had finished my card for this weeks Sketch Saturday late last night and wanted to make good close up pictures in the day light only it's turning out to be a very grey day here so I just had to do with that and finally took my pictures a couple of minutes ago... on the doormat while it rained outside :S.
First I don't know if you've read the Sketch Saturday blog yet but if you have you will know that we have had some sad news. Emma is going to leave us, she is just to busy at the moment to take time out to craft and so she had to tell us she is going to stop with making her gorgeous creations for Sketch Saturday. I already told Emma but I'll say it again here, I completely understand why she had to make this choise but I will miss her gorgeous designs and I wish her all the best in the future and hope to see her cards again real soon.
But there is also good news!! Jo came up with another brilliant sketch for this week. It's not the easiest sketch (at least it wasn't for me), it took me right out of my comfort zone but I think that's a very good thing for a sketch challenge!! Here is the design Jo came up with:
It turned out I just had to buy two new Spellbinder templates to get this card done. Just had to... Jo's to blame hunny :). Here is my card:
As you can see I took this picture last night by lamplight but I think it turned out OK after I used my PSP. Here is a close up of the cute little Lily from the new Pink Cat Studio Sweetheart set (other examples with this set and the full set are shown in the posts below this one).
And a close up of the bottum of the card where I used one of my new templates.
I embroidered the piercings and used some liquid pearls on the embossed heart. The paper is the new Basic Grey BitterSweet.
Don't forget to check out the blogs of my DT friends.
Have a great Saturday!!!
