Card with a Fairy Princess

Hi girls,

Its been a bit over a week but I have something to show again :). I have had this gorgeous Fairy Princess stamp by Stamposaurus for ages now. I fell in love with her on first sight but I never got around to using it (this happens a lot unfortunately). But my oldest daughter Dyanne was invited to join a girl from her class to her ballet-lesson and she wanted to make a thank you card and while going through my stamps we found this one again which was perfect for the cause. I just HAD to use her too of course :). Here is what I did with her:

As you can see I've added a lot of glitter and I 3D paper pieced her. The tule (from stash) around the ballerina was 100 % inspired by THIS gorgeous card by the very talented and my fellow Dutchie Ria van Son. I think Ria's looks way better though. The tule goes through the holes of the largest shape from Nellie's Multi Frame Dies Round. All the papers and buttons used are from the new colour co-ordinates line from Elzybells. The colours I used are: Whipped Cream, Chocolate Brownie, Strawberry Fool and Pink Lemonade. I love co-ordinating lines and since we don't have Stampin' Up here in The Netherlands I was so exhited when Elzybells announced there new product range. And I have to say, all of the colours are SO gorgeous! The Pink Lemonade cardstock was embossed using the new Cuttlebug Roses stencil and I've added some Elzybells Sugar Candy ink to the tops of the roses and the edges of both the Pink Lemonade and the Chocolate Brownie paper. The flowers were all done with the Paper Shaper Retro Flower punches and the leaves were done with a Martha Steward punch. Some stickles to some of the flowers and buttons and that's it!
