I am still very much alive, not to worry :). But with Dyanne home for the summer days are short and there isn't much time to craft I'm afraid. I've been dying to try out a Kenny K image though! His style is so different from what's already out there and I love the gorgeous girls he has in his store. I decided to go for "Download Diva" first. Dyanne has been asking me to make a card especially for her and since she is crazy about music and loves to walk around listing to the music on her VTech Kidizoom (it is a camera but she likes the music option even better (ps. best toy we ever bought her!) I thought this image would be perfect for her card. Here is the result:I used the sketch for the second challenge at Kenny K's Krafty Girlz challenge blog. The papers and the sentiment I used are from the Basic Grey Bittersweet collection pack. The cardstock used for the base of the card and the flowers is from Elzybells, the colors I used are Whipped Cream, Pink Lemonade, Chocolate Brownie and Cookie Dough, the ink used to distress the papers is also Chocolate Brownie. I don't know if you have already heard but Elzybells is closing down :(. If you want to get your hands on these gorgeous papers and inks you'd better be VERY quick. The pearls and gems are from stash as are the roses, no idea what brand they are from. Here is a close up of the Diva:
Isn't she gorgeous, she was so much fun to color! Well hope you like my card. Take care friends!! I'm turning in, it's been a long day and I'd love to get my eyes closed!
Ps. Ingrid you asked me about the Copic colors I'd used. I'll try to keep track of the colors I use with the next image I color! I always put the marker away after using it so I have no idea which exact colors I used on this one :S.
