Hoi means hi in Dutch

Hi everybody!!

 

Back already! Second, you may have seen the card I'm showing today already on the Copic Marker Europe blog, it featured there yesterday. On the CME blog I also showed how I muted the blue color to the color it is now so if you want to check that out be sure to take a look there but if you stay here you get to watch the little pieces that I didn't show there LOL.

The fabulous shape of the card is from the newly released die by Whimsy Stamps, the Double Scalloped Square Doily Die. The die has double scallops and little holes, through which I have put a piece of string that was actually part of a Some Odd girls wrapping :). The second product that I have used from the August Whimsy Stamps release are the new Spell it Out stamps by Raindrop Echo Designs, don't you just love those? I have spelled "hoi" which means "hi" in Dutch. And as for the image:

Nope, that isn't one of Whimsy's, this cutie is from Whiff of Joy, she is called Maya Watching a Ladybug and I adore her, just as the other stamps from this new Whiff of Joy line by the way. I have colored her with my Copics on my normal coloring paper, Paper Temptress Iridescent Cryogen White, but stamped the base (see the tutorials I did if you don't "get" what I mean, you can find them behind the tab My Tutorials above) on kraft paper. I colored the craft paper a bit with Derwent pencils. As always she was 3D paper pieced:

With as promissed the little pieces :).

I'd like to enter this card into the current challenge at HobbyVision, Kraft-wit (white)-roze (pink). I know there is also a hint of blue on the card but I hope that's forgiven.
