As mentioned in the title... today is releaseday for both Whimsy Stamps and Wee Stamps. You will find all the details about the Whimsy release below. I would like to start by showing my project with a release by Wee Stamps though, please meet Shelley:
Isn't she gorgeous? Shelley will be released today both as a digital image and as a rubber stamp. Today is also the releaseday of Love me Do, that has been released as a digital image on February 14th, as a rubber stamp. I tried out some new stitching on this card, it took me hours but I kind of like the look. I used white cardstock and a strip of VERY old gorgeous glittery designpaper (I believe My Minds Eye). The flowers are all Wild Orchid Crafts as is the ribbon. The chandeliers are Magnolia and the corner and rhinestones are Melissa Frances, the shell bangle is from stash. I used both platinum and diamond Stickles, Frayed Burlap and Walnut Stain distress inks liquid pearls and glossy accents.
A close up of Shelley. As you can see I didn't take the picture out of exactly the right angle so now you see why I color the back with my shadow color (W5).
And the little pieces Shelley was made of. I didn't use the pearls because I decided to go for liquid pearls instead. I really hope you like my Shelley card. If you want to see more gorgeous samples with Shelley by the Wee Stamps February team please visit the Wee Stamps/Sylvia Zet blog. Now for the Whimsy release details:

OMGosh! So gorgeous! The soft colors and beautiful layout is just the perfect scheme for this new cutie! ;D
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI just discovered you over at SCS! Your work is unbelievable and stunning!! I left a comment on a card over there too...How much time does it take you to make a card? What do you use to cut those tiny pieces? Do you sell them? Please let me know the answers if you have time...Thanks! Cookie
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHi Cookie,
VerwijderenThank you for your lovely comment :). It takes me hours and hours to make a card. I think ten or eleven hours is my average but then complicated images like the Wee Stamps ones take me longer to cut and paper piece so those cards take even more time. I use precision scissors. If you look below my blog header you'll find a tab "My tutorials", I explain how I 3D paper piece there a couple of times. I don't often sell my cards, I get to many requests and don't make enough but I am planning to sell one next month through Ebay. I'll warn about that sale on my blog. Hope that helps :). Hugs,
Mariska
This is simply stunning such incredible work hugs rebekah xx
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThank you Mariska! And thanks for sharing your beautiful designs!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWatching the tutorial and I must be crazy too cause I color my cut out edges black too! Lol guess we are both perfectionist...I haven't heard you say the brand of scissors yet...Back to part 4...Great job on the video!!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThey are brandless Cookie, I buy them at a craftfair, there are always two booths there who have these on a weel and you can test them to see which ones you like best. Good to meet another perfectionist :).
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYou are awesome!!!If you don't mind me asking; what type of scissors do you use.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful card Mariska, love the pale colours and gorgeous details - adorable image too!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHave a nice Sunday!
