June Release for Whimsy Stamps and Wee Stamps with Wee One

Hi everybody,

As promised I'm back with a new project. Tomorrow Whimsy Stamps will be releasing a fabulous new collection of stamps, dies and papers. Today we are celebrating with a Sneak Peek blog hop, the products will be available in the Whimsy Stamps store (or through several resellers) tomorrow. I'll give you a list with the ladies participating in todays hop on the bottom of this post. And remember, we are hosting a 3-day new release event where we have a Sneak Peek Blog Hop (today), a Release Day Blog Hop (tomorrow) and a Review Day Blog Hop (the day after tomorrow). Each blog hop has a prize of 2 new release stamps hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24 hrs to enter each prize draw. And as you can see I'm part of todays hop.

The project I'm showing you today features our brand new Wee Stamps' Wee One. This cutie will be officially available in the Whimsy store tomorrow, wednesday June 19th, but if you click on THIS link you might just be surprised ;), and is already available as a digital image in the Wee Stamps store HERE today. On our Wee Stamps blog we have more samples with the new release.

Isn't this stamp just gorgeous? As you'll be able to see on the Wee Stamps blog and probably also in the Whimsy blog hop, this image can be used both for a little boy and for a little girl. The pretty papers that I used are KaiserCraft Bundly of Joy Collection combined with pink and kraft colored cardstock and some corrugated kraft cardstock. Everything has been distressed with distress ink, Picket Fence Crackle Paint and frantage. The cute corners are actually two Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Square die cuts cut into four. The ribbon was actually attached to a baby gift basket I received when my youngest daughter Amy was born five years ago. I thought it was very pretty and took it off before reusing the basket. The sentiment is an old one from Elzybells which unfortunately no longer exists which is still a shame because they had such pretty sentiments. The baby feet charm is from Marianne Design Newborn Charms and the pearls are from a Flourish with a Bling Pearl colored Pack of pearls. Of course I added some gorgeous Wild Orchid Craft flowers, used are:
Pink set of Mixed Flowers (the different sets of mixed flowers seem to be completely sold out)

Mixed Pink Carnation Flowers
Ivory Open Roses 25mm

A close up of the adorable little image, as always colored with Copic Markers and completely 3D paper pieced. The Copic markers I used are:

Skin: E11, E00, E000 and E0000

Hair: YR23, YR21, YR20, E33, E31, E50

Pram: E44, E42, E41, E40

Wheels and handle: Y28, YR24, YR23, YR21, YR20

The Pinks: R85, R83, R81, R00, R0000 With Frosted Lace Stickles over the fringes of the pram.

Cream clothes: E50, CB

The horse: E55, E53, E51, E50

Horses hair and saddle: E44, E42, E41

Bird: E44, E42, E41, E40 with orange accents: YR18, YR04, YR02

Shading: W5, W3, W1, W00, CB
