Saturday, so you know what that means for me... Sketch Saturday!!! First, I want to thank you all for taking part in our challenges. We had an absolute record last week! The count is 125 right now!!! I guess that means you love working with Jo's sketches as much as I do :). Well, Jo created another great sketch for this weeks challenge. I think it is very easy to use and I had a lot of fun with it:
I decided to make a cardfolder instead of a normal card. I have been strolling around the different blogs for a long time and finally came by the Moni's blog who has created this very useful tutorial. I did alter the size slightly, I thought Jo's sketch worked better in a square or a rectangle with about the same height and wide. Here is my cardfolder:
This little bear by All that Scraps originally has just the one scoop on his ice cream cone but I took the idea from Jenn Muraoka's Aloha Friday (love those) and gave him a little more to eat.
I created the backing paper myself. I used different Pink Cat Studio sets, coloured the images, scanned them, pasted them in a new file with a background colour and then printed it on cardstock. Here is the card I used to stamp, color and scan and a printout of the finished paper.
It was real fun to do and I'm sure I'm going to try this again. I hope it's not against the Angel Policy that's on these (and most) stamps but since I'm not going to sell the paper but use it myself I don't think that's a problem. The backing paper for the little bear was also printed in using PSP, I couldn't find the right shade to go with the home made backing paper and with PSP that's easy.
Materials used:

I've had the Doodlebug Sugar Coated Cardstock for ages but this is the first time I used it. I think the sugary texture fits this sweet cardstock perfectly. The sentiment was printed using PSP again and then cut out with my nestabilities. I do hope you like this. Please don't forget to check out the amazing creations my fellow Design Team members came up with. I'll try to visit as many of you as I can the next week. Have fun with the sketch girls!!!
